"I should have read thr previous reviews because I was extremely disappointed with the condition of my room. The cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience were far below what I expect from any hotel. I checked in later in the day and wqs too tired to go through the hassle of finding another hotel and I was only at this one for one night. Issues I encountered included: Multiple visible stains on the mattress and box spring. Yellow/brown stains on bedding and pillows. Hair left on the bedding. Food (peanuts) left on the floor near the bed. Dirty, stained walls and light switches. Chipped and damaged furniture. No toilet paper provided in the room upon arrival. The air conditioning remote was difficult to operate and came with no instructions, making it frustrating to adjust the room temperature. The room felt neglected and poorly maintained. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when booking a hotel, and unfortunately this property did not meet that standard. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."

"Nice hotel..... convenient location. RUDE front desk staff that seemed irritated when asked about literally ANYTHING! The girl who checked us in was nice but after that it went downhill fast. Bell desk staff was great on the way out which helped us exit without being completely frustrates. Paying almost $20 to waste my time and struggle with their computer & printer (I'm typically very tech savy so idk what the issue with their business center was) while wasting an hour of my life at 5 am on one of the most important days of my daughter's life was pretty disappointing ....... also didn't love paying $17 for a wilted salad that had probably been on the shelf of their market for 4+ days and having them not even include the deserts I ordered paid and tipped on was disappointing, especially since we had such a packed schedule there was no time to call and complain as we were eating on the run. I would return ONLY if there were no other hotels left in downtown Chicago. This definitely would be my last choice."

"The room seemed clean, but the bathroom was a little dirty. They require a $300 deposit, which I thought was too much for just one night. I only slept there for about 6 hours. I wasn’t able to shower in the morning because of the shared bathroom situation. There were two other guests using the bathroom in the morning and I had to check out by 10am."
