"I arrived very late in the evening, after visiting close family at the nearby hospital. The hotel entrance was difficult to find, given major building works nearby. Having tried to navigate via satnav failed to find the property, I called front desk from a nearby rail station car park. The gentleman on reception guided me in live by phone and on my arrival greeted me by name. All of this after a very long and exhausting day, I felt welcome (and relieved). Nothing was too much to ask. The room was basic but spotless and comfortable. Every member of staff I encountered was professional and friendly. A very welcome and friendly conclusion to a long and stressful day. Thankyou!"
