Incredible service - Maurice went above and beyond, meeting me at the town border to guide me through town to the parking spot, carrying my suitcase to and from my room, and providing me excellent advice on dining and sights. I also loved the rooftop gourmet breakfast and well-stocked honor bar. Such a thoughtful place to stay."
"Me and my husband stayed in room 1 for 1 night and we were blown away by the great standard of La Vieja Botica. The room was excellent, loved the interior. The bed and the linen was luxurious as well as the towels. The host was so sweet and helpful in every way. We would very much recommend this place and would like to come again.

They stayed completely separate downstairs, and left you to your own devices. Downside would be the 2 shared bathrooms, although you hardly notice that other people are staying there and using them, and they were cleaned multiple times a day. Service was very friendly and helpful. We try to speak a little Spanish but they helped us out in English when necessary! Rooms were cleaned on the one full day we were there. Breakfast was simple but set us up for the day. We shall return if we're back in the area."

"Juana and Olivier couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and they were there whenever we needed help. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms and large kitchen with everything you would need. The whole pool area is full of beautiful plants and very welcoming. We really enjoyed being part of the Velez Malaga village. Don't miss Casa Domi for lunch or dinner. It's only 2 doors down and has fabulous food."
