The pool area is nice but a little small. Never an issue getting a sunbed but can someyimes feel quite close to other people "
"Me and my husband stayed in room 1 for 1 night and we were blown away by the great standard of La Vieja Botica. The room was excellent, loved the interior. The bed and the linen was luxurious as well as the towels. The host was so sweet and helpful in every way. We would very much recommend this place and would like to come again.

"Joachim und Nathalie sind sehr herzliche und tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Joachim hat immer Tipps parat. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Dachterrasse war unser Highlight. Das Frühstück war gut.und ausreichend. Es gab jeden Morgen frisch gepressten Orangensaft. "Amazing place to stay - modern, clean, excellent location in the city center yet calm place to relax. There is bar downstairs but no significant noice even on Friday night, just people talking. We could sleep comfortably with the window open. Also check in experience was very good and welcoming."

Incredible service - Maurice went above and beyond, meeting me at the town border to guide me through town to the parking spot, carrying my suitcase to and from my room, and providing me excellent advice on dining and sights. I also loved the rooftop gourmet breakfast and well-stocked honor bar. Such a thoughtful place to stay."

"5 minutes walk to the beach front.
Service was very friendly and helpful. We try to speak a little Spanish but they helped us out in English when necessary! Rooms were cleaned on the one full day we were there. Breakfast was simple but set us up for the day. We shall return if we're back in the area."

"Absolutely loved it, ages 30 - 60. Everything you could wish for, the photo's dont do it justice. The apartment and the facilities meticulously clean. Its a skip and a hop from the beach with a supermarket on your doorstep.The pool area is gorgeous too. We will definitely re book and recommend. "

"Juana and Olivier couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and they were there whenever we needed help. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms and large kitchen with everything you would need. The whole pool area is full of beautiful plants and very welcoming. We really enjoyed being part of the Velez Malaga village. Don't miss Casa Domi for lunch or dinner. It's only 2 doors down and has fabulous food."
