"Me and my husband stayed in room 1 for 1 night and we were blown away by the great standard of La Vieja Botica. The room was excellent, loved the interior. The bed and the linen was luxurious as well as the towels. The host was so sweet and helpful in every way. We would very much recommend this place and would like to come again.

Incredible service - Maurice went above and beyond, meeting me at the town border to guide me through town to the parking spot, carrying my suitcase to and from my room, and providing me excellent advice on dining and sights. "We had a lovely stay at Villa Cameleon, journey up takes a bit of getting used to.. especially if you have a fear of heights, it's very high up but the views once there are absolutely stunning and make it very worthwhile. The property itself is lovely, perhaps some of the furnishings are a little tired in places, but it didn't impact our stay, we thought it was great value for money..the pool area was fab, we spent whole days lounging around. We would definitely come back, sad to leave. "

Service was very friendly and helpful. We try to speak a little Spanish but they helped us out in English when necessary! Rooms were cleaned on the one full day we were there. Breakfast was simple but set us up for the day. We shall return if we're back in the area."

"Juana and Olivier couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and they were there whenever we needed help. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms and large kitchen with everything you would need. The whole pool area is full of beautiful plants and very welcoming. We really enjoyed being part of the Velez Malaga village. Don't miss Casa Domi for lunch or dinner. It's only 2 doors down and has fabulous food."
