"The staff were fantastic and showed me to my room and were happy to book a table for me and my friends that evening which was so helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable however the room was very hot all throughout the night so I slept with the fan on. I assumed this was known as there was already a fan in my room so I was happy to sleep with it on but it was noisy, so pack earplugs! The coffee machine was a lovely touch and the room was perfect for what I needed. I would recommend and stay again happily."

"The spa and hotel operate as separate businesses, which means charges cannot be added to the hotel room bill. Unfortunately, this was not explained to us at check-in. While at the spa, we ordered a few drinks and I did not have my card with me. Instead of offering a convenient solution, the staff advised me to get changed, return to my room to collect my card, and then come back to settle the bill. It was an extremely disappointing and inconvenient experience."

"good stay , however unfortunately we had a room on the main road and the room was very warm and had to have the window open and the traffic was too noisy , not much sleep had at all , a room at the rear would have been better "

"Only one word really…… Wow!!! Beautiful location, stunning property, beautifully finished…. So so comfortable, even the Sofia bed was a dream. To top it all off the private garden was so picturesque, loved watching the ducklings swimming past. Totally idealistic, and friendly accommodating hosts. We will be back!"

"Not sure how its a 4-star. Anyway, the restaurant was really good, great food (but a bit heavy on cheese and light on mushrooms in the risotto) and wine. Special recognition for Tilly, who was very attentive. The fire alarm went off 12 times in the night, really? The room, No. 17, was way too hot, maybe that's what triggered the alarm? The heated towel rail was on full and I couldn't see how to turn it off. The bathroom extractor fan ran on for ages."

"Nice hotel. Lady on reception was very good and helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant, the food was excellent as was the breakfast. Will stay again when I'm next working in the area. "
