"This is a charming little spot with peek a boo views of the Aran Islands on days when weather allowed. It’s nestled in with a number of other rental dwellings with easy parking. I believe a small hotel is also in the property. The hosts and their families are nearby too. Although guests aren’t impacted in anyway, the place is also a working sheep farm. Sadly, we did not get to meet the sheep and yes, they are far out in the field;) We had been traveling in Ireland for ten days prior to our arrival and were grateful for the quiet, the large space, free onsite parking, and TV and internet. It was a brief stay but a lovely respite. "

"The Aran View Country House is a beautiful property with a charming antique feel, perfectly located in Doolin. There are several great pubs a short distance, and the Cliffs of Moher are just a short drive away. While the home has an older style inside, it’s very well maintained and spotlessly clean.Sharon, the owner, was fantastic—so accommodating to our requests, flexible with our early check-in, and always quick to respond. Our friends and family truly enjoyed our stay. The house feels like a bed and breakfast inside a spacious villa, with a large dining area, big kitchen, plenty of bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), plus a pool table/game room, bar, and cozy living room.We also enjoyed exploring the Doolin Caves nearby and golfing at Doonbeg, which was about an hour’s drive. If you’re traveling with a big group, this is absolutely the place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!"
