"The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. "It could do with a slight renovation. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, some mould was present on the bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately, there were 2 separate taps in the bathroom basin and kitchen sink, one for hot water and one for cold. So you can’t really wash your hands in warm water unless you plug the sink up and mix the water in there. They did say it was going to be replaced soon so it might be done the next time we go there. Overall, we liked the room as it was large and clean....
