Really nice room and very clean. I think the website needs to take down that they have parking because you don't. When asked, he said they don't use the parking garage anymore and you park out front. However, you have to pay up to $40 a day for that. We were there for 6 days so do the math.

It is an old building with a fresh makeover. Comfortable, and a great location for exploring the city centre. It was COLD when I was there so the central heating units did their job fulltime.

The staff were helpful and polite. The location is near to a number of pubs and cafes and a mall with a movie theater. It's very accessible, right on the main street but not noisy. And if you're going to Bluff to catch the ferry to Stewart Island it's only 28km!

Location superb. Only issue was I didn’t want to park out on the street and there was no parking at the hotel. Woman behind the desk said all booked up, without caring too much.

It was very central located, parked right out the front for whole stay and car was safe. Bed was comfy shower, was great. The staff were friendly I checked in after reception was closed and using the phone in the lobby made instant contact with staff who came to reception immeadiealty. I was happy there was crockery in the room as i got take away for dinner. the room was clean and I slept sound was there on a Friday night. I would stay again.

Thansk for the stay - I would rate it ok I would return, however the parking could be made easier. Parking is free after 4:30 pm but not prior , so when I arrived at 2:30 I paid on the street for a few hours, but as I had to work - in the evening by the time I returned the reception was closed and therefore I could get into the parking for the duration of my stay. I don’t recall the listing but the walls are also not soundproof. The location was perfect and it was a comfortable bed for my 1 night stay.

Great beds. Served our purpose of wanting 3 double rooms. It was clean and staff polite and friendly. Downs, it smells weird and not go weird. We faced Tay street it’s noisy as hell. Very little sleep. Broken taped window. Just fix it! Multiple other small slightly annoying issues. We looked on the bright side of great location and great beds and great size bedrooms. Doubt we will be returning

I needed to wear ear plugs as the road outside got a bit noisy and my window didn't shut properly, also no air con, but clean and great shower and was just across from the mall

On the positive side it was quiet and centrally located. It was lacking in that the room was small, there was no a/c, no parking, we couldn’t open the window, there were no bedside tables, there was rarely anyone at the front desk, and the gym was not on site. Overall, it was okay but not great value for the money.
