"Food was a big pass for me. If you book, don’t stay in rooms 12-20. There is some kind of wind tunnel on that hallway. Every time a door opened, our door rattled. From 730-930 pm it was a continuous rattle from a group coming in! We tried to stuff paper around the door to secure it, but no success.
Hotel is really more like a pit stop for backpacking groups than anything. Good for a hot shower and ( hopefully) a good nights sleep "
"Steps away from the train station made it ideal for us! The staff were very accommodating. The hotel is like a warm Scottish hug. Do enjoy the “Tea for Two” and enjoy the lovely and Royal libby."

"The best part of the hotel was the location - you are steps away from multiple restaurants and pubs. Easy access to local sites and within walking distance to the train station. The staff was very kind and helpful too. The lights in the hallway went on as you walked, which was good for saving electricity, but it felt kind of dark though."
"Great location and friendly staff. Big issue was with Room 9 was mouldy and smelled. Great staff arranged new rooms. Friend stayed in different room, which was fine and clean. I was given a single room which was also good. Great location, good friendly staff. One bad room."
