"I was pleasantly surprised during our last visit to the Hotel. We used it as a halfway stop on the way back from Kimberly. The front-of-house was very friendly, good vibe in the restaurant/pub and the food was very good. One does have to realise it is a "vintage" hotel and if you would be so inclined, one could find fault everywhere. But I will definitely return again. The bedding was excellent and the bed massive! "Just outside town in old farmhouse dating back to 1774. Shared kitchen well stocked and also access to private patio with braai. Some game to be seen close by at rivers edge as you drive in. Small pool for cooling off."
