Lovely hotel . The foyer and bar area are all very nicely decorated, and has a nice atmosphere. The rooms are a wee bit tired in comparison

The Hotel was very Inviting front of house was lovely. My only Gripe and it is a personal one for me, there is No lift, I had 2 flights of stairs and it was a fair walk to our room. However I would most definitely stay here again ,but now Im in the know I would request a Ground floor room....

Stayed for two nights as meeting up with friends. Great location, central to so many golf courses, dining, shopping and great walks. Staff at hotel very friendly, accommodating and evening menu great choices/varieties.

This was a very enjoyable stay, although the shower did not work, but someone came to sort out the issue. Once I got back to my room that day I had some gift jewelry (to give to friends) from my suitcase. I have checked and rechecked my suitcase, but definitely missing. Very disappointed. ☹️

Good value for money
Hotel reception and bar area, including lounge and sofa area are lovely and comfortable with a nice ambience. Floors are stunning. Breakfast tables were slow in getting cleared on 1st morning, but could have been a rush before we went in. We have to clear our own. This morning, we were taken to our table. Nice friendly staff clearing tables. Some of the sockets and swiches in bedroom are units are tired and only 2 coathangers. Very small details. Housekeeping was very good.

It was our second stay at Riverside Lodge. Tte staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always plentiful and fresh with a good selection. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was good quality and very tasty. Cocktails at the bar were priced on the high side and in our option, not the best. They were quite watery and tasteless.

Comfortable stay
Excellent room, very warm & friendly welcome @ reception. Very disappointed to learn that they stop serving food @ 8.15pm. Not good after a 6 hours drive arriving at 9 pm starving hungry . Night porter does room service but doesn't come on duty till 11 pm.
