It’s a beautiful, well kept hotel with a thermal pool, wonderful breakfast and dinner options! They also have a shuttle that runs down to the port and back every hour on the hour!!

We stayed five nights and wished it was longer. Fabulous place the staff were wonderful and having meals available at night so we didn’t have to go down town was wonderful. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough will definitely stay again.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this family-run hotel and staff. We loved location, hotel, thermal pool, and breakfast. Our favorite was the kind and hospitable family. The owner Joe was a true gem who helped us with transport, bags, and ice to keep my husband’s medicine cold.

Don Pedro Hotel has a fantastic outlook and wonderful thermal pool which is like swimming in a warm bath. For a 3 star hotel it has a lot to offer and is great value. We had diner there on two nights and really enjoyed it. Staff were very helpful and the availability of a shuttle service to the port at certain times is great, because it is up short hill, which is ok, but uncomfortable if it is hot. We had an upgrade on this, our second stay here, to croon with a terrace, table, chairs and loungers, which was lovely. If anything was to be improved, I would say the showers - they are very small and those that have curtains, just stick to you, making it a bit awkward. Everything else was great and we would stay there again.

Traditionally styled property in unique location overlooking the port area. Access can be gained via steps on foot during your stay. Food quality was good and a plentiful buffet breakfast. Excellent and very welcoming staff / owners.

Great stay with very accommodating staff
I’m glad we found this gem in Ischia. One of the most accommodating hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy. They have a shuttle bus the takes you to the port which is super convenient. The hotel is up a hill that gives amazing views! I totally recommend staying here if you’re in Ischia!

This is a lovely hotel with a fabulous view and a great thermal pool. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Although close to all the amenities around the port, it is up a hill, which is a bit of a challenge in the heat and taxis are expensive. However the owners offer a shuttle service with your luggage to and from the port. The rooms are very comfortable and have a balcony. The heated pool is wonderful! We were only there for one night but hope to return later in the year.

Great cost x benefit
Very nice staff. The hotel is simple, but super clean and functional. The pool and the view from the pool area are amazing. Only con is that doors don't block the sound, during the last night of our stay there was a noisy family that kept waking us up .

Stunning
The hotel is comfortable and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely with beautiful views down to the port. Our room had a balcony and air conditioning. The hotel is up a steep hill but there is the option of a free shuttle if you pre-book with reception.

Beautiful location - tiring walk up the hill but worth it for views and the hotel provides a free shuttle service. Room and pool were lovely and breakfast good. Real Italian feel, not luxury but really good value for price

Stayed in a single sea view room, was quite compact but clean and comfortable, sea view and hillside view to die for. Staff cannot do enough for you, love everything about the hotel and the beautiful island. Missing the place already. Lovely quaint hotel. Breakfast is continental but plentiful, sitting outside with a beautiful view was such a privilege. Will be going back next year. Wonderful hotel.

Wonderful hotel
We had an amazing stay at Don Pedro with our 7 month old baby. The hotel staff are absolutely fantastic, they cannot do enough for you. The breakfast was great and the welcome was warm every morning. The pool is wonderful and heated with thermal waters which was fantastic like a warm bath. It was tricky to plan things with a small baby so one night when we had planned to head out for dinner but it was pouring with rain despite the kitchen about to close they provided us with a 3 course meal at very late notice. They made such a fuss of our little boy it really made the holiday special. On our last day they gave us late check out and drove us to the port with all our luggage. Exceptional service and a wonderful hotel. Thank you so much.

A Good Base From Which To Explore
Weather mixed, with some torrential rain on more than one occasion during our stay. The hotel is well placed and the staff welcoming and helpful. Room made up daily, we found the bed a little firm for our liking. Also we should warn prospective guests to avoid Room 118 as it is over the Reception Area and results in noise resounding from below both in the morning from 0600 to late at night (midnight). Overall though a good base from which to explore what Ischia has to offer.

Perfect stay
This hotel is just perfect, we really couldn't fault it. Beautiful setting and view, the staff are lovely. Pool is big and never too busy. The hotel is up a hill but they offer a free shuttle service to pick you up from the port if you don't fancy walking it. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location
Having wandered around Naples trying to find our first hotel we thought we would get a taxi from the ferry stop,to the hotel. 2 minutes and 15 euros later we were outside the hotel!! In fact it was in a great location overlooking the bay of Naples and Prochida. A 10 minute downhill walk to the centre of Ischia Porte with the prospect of a free shuttle back. Great pool with plenty of sunloungers. Breakfast plentiful and usual ham cheese fruit etc. Shower archaic but got used to it. Many others seemed on half board but dinner only between 7.30-8.30 pm so too early for us. You must visit L'alta mezzanotte on the sea front. Excellent food friendly service and housecwhite wine that tastes really good!!

Decent Hotel
A decent hotel built on a slope overlooking the port. Room has balcony and hotel has swimming pool. Access to hotel from bus stop requires walking up may be 100 steps in a private access road. People with luggage is better off taking taxi to the hotel front entrance. Internet may not work in certain rooms.

Very accommodating and helpful
We stayed here for 2 nights and was well looked after by the staff at the hotel who went out of their way to help, the rooms was lovely and clean and maintained daily. The breakfast was great with lots of variety for continental. Although hotel corridors were noisy with children in the morning, which was a shame as we wanted a lie in! The view from the hotel is amazing, looking over Ischia town, however the hill climb is what you have to pay for it. We didn't find it too bad a walk but the road is extremely narrow and without footpaths...it doesn't bode well with Italian driving and it's quite scary how close they get! But that's my only downfall, we had a great stay and would visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms, as with everything,were extremely clean and well kept, although very basic. The pool is heated with thermal water and was brilliant as was always warm. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable with lots of variety. Overall, we would use this hotel again and would highly recommend to all.

Hotel Don Pedro - a worthwhile hike up the hill.
We liked Don Pedro very much. Everything was exactly as expected; comfort, hospitality (lovely family running it), food, views and facilities. Really good value for money. We are both very fit but even for us, the hike up and down the hill between the hotel and Ischia Porto was hard work, particularly in temperatures above 30 degrees C - and perilous at times. Taxis cost at least 10 euros a time, so be warned!

Relatively convenient to the ferry, good view, but a slight hike to the center
We spent two nights at this hotel in April 2009. Once we figured out where it was, we were pleasantly surprised. One should look for the hotel sign immediately after leaving the ferry landing area that points to a narrow road (Via Quercia) leading away on the right side of the church. You can also take a staircase from the main road (Baldassarre Cossa). The service and accommodations were as good or better than to be expected from similarly priced hotels in Italy. The view of the town, especially at sunset, is quite nice. It does take a 10-15 minute walk to get to Via Roma, where most touristy things are (restaurants, shops, etc.), but it's kind of nice to stay away from all the madness of that area.

Ho trascorso il ponte del primo maggio con mia moglie in questa struttura, già ci eravamo stati in passato per una vacanza estiva. Ottima pulizia, con stanze comode e dotate di tutti i confort. Personale gentilissimo e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Comodissimo il servizio navetta, disponibile e veloce. L'hotel inoltre è dotato di piscina esterna disponibile agl'ospiti e di una scala che percorrendola si arriva direttamente ad Ischia porto. La struttura nel complesso è ben tenuta e curata. Che dire, tutto perfetto e consigliatissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente per una terza volta.

Dejligt og smukt beliggende hotel med et fantastisk personale. Alle er utroligt servicemindede og venlige. Poolen er virkelig dejlig og stor nok til gode svømmeture. Sengene er desværre ukomfortable, og de hårde madrasser trænger til udskiftning.
