Arrived before 2pm after being up since 2am. Could not check in before 3pm. At 3:15 had to remind staff we were still waiting patiently. Suprise hit on Island tax...about 40cdn..Prefer if they just include it in the package. Property & Room was nice. Pool was down for 3-4 days. We took the breakfast option but ended up eating in town every other day for nicer options. Food is so good on the Island

This resort was the best place I’ve ever stayed. It’s nestled deeper into a jungle like area than the other resorts, has a quiet and peaceful beach, a large area with tables before you get to the beach with a beach bar, a lovely pool, and a restaurant with great and plentiful options. The rooms have everything you need and the beds are comfy. There was a cooler in the room so it isn’t as hot as you’d expect. We stayed in a. Room with a jacuzzi tub and it was incredibly relaxing and huge with jets. The goodies for the tub got refilled everyday. We had a beachside room with a beautiful deck and hammock area that we woke up and enjoyed everyday. The staff here is so attentive, pleasant, and will cater to your needs. The beach bar staff are all so fun and kind, and the beach service with drinks and food was top notch. The way the grounds are maintained is impressive and you truly feel like you’re in a jungle walking through this space. Gazing at the many iguanas and giving the honorary resort dog some love were some of my favorite parts. This is such a beautiful and tucked away resort and I will be back!

I stayed for 4 nights—solo traveler. I felt very safe. The hotel is charming. My room was cleaned daily, and I was happy with the service. I would stay again. Close to the center of town & many restaurants.

We were checked into a room with broken shower. It would not turn off and was very noisy. Staff were not helpful. We had to beg for a different room, which took 2 days. They did not help us move. There was black mould in the bathtub. Paint peeling. Generally not good value for the price point.

We loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the property was lovely. Things like the shower head and sink could use some lime away, but the rooms were spacious, our balcony overlooking the beach was beautiful and grounds were amazing. For what you pay for, it’s well worth it. The breakfast is a great addition, and service on the beach is always nice! The pillows were super hard and big, but just leaving these comments for feedback. We would happily stay here again!

The Villas HM Paraiso has professional staff, delicious food, lush/beautiful gardens and the beaches on the island are some of the best with soft white sand and blue- green waters. The all inclusive package was well worth it and we had beach service also. I would definitely visit again!

We picked the hotel over others because it had a pool but it was small and not that clean so wasn’t worth it. Our room also had a shower that didn’t turn off fully and a leaking AC unit - both were looked at but neither were fixed, and the reaction of the hotel was to shrug their shoulders - ‘yes, it’s true it’s not working but you’ll have to live with it.’ Wouldn’t recommend.

The staff was very helpful but the pool was disgusting and when I asked the front desk they claimed the sister hotel was the same.IT WAS NOT. HMPalapas pool was not green!
