"Very relaxing, quiet beautiful place a lot of thought and expertise was involved in making this a perfect vacation spot. The rooms are furnished in great taste, comfortable furniture, beautiful outdoor spot to look over towards the dock. Bikes and kayaks and boards are available. The pool is spotlessly clean. The only thing lacking is a beach and ocean to go into, because this resort is mainly for fishing and boating. Staff extremely nice and helpful. "

"Our stay at Chesapeake Beach Resort was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The check-in process was quick and easy, and every staff member made us feel so welcomed and accommodated throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. I had a made-to-order omelet with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese that was SO good! A huge thank you to Jose, Kathy, and Dilcia for going above and beyond — they were incredibly kind, attentive, and even brought our food directly to the table with a smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. Later, we had lunch and drinks at the bar with Jose Y, and he was fantastic! He made amazing drinks and provided outstanding service the entire time. Everything about this resort exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"Room was nice with balcony but not what I expected. Thought I was booking the room that was in the picture. All the pictures of my room at time of reservation appeared like the photos shown on the site, but this was not in fact the room we received. Overall the property is pretty nice with bikes, kayaks and paddleboards available at no extra charge. There was a free shuttle to the sister resorts Amara Cay and Three Waters Resorts. We went to the Three Waters Resort and this resort was a bit nicer than La Siesta and the staff there was amazing. The staff a La Siesta, not so much often hard to find, even at the pool bar and beach/kayak area."
