"The pictures online were very deceiving and the room we had was not that clean- floor was gross, tv was terrible- not clear at all, bed was broken and loud, and the air conditioning unit was absolutely terrible- super loud all night. The property was very dated and needs more attention."

"We came with small children for spring break and quickly realized it was the best decision. The staff amenities and room was perfect. We’ll definitely be back. "

"The pictures are deceiving and nothing like what the actual place looks like. The rooms are dirty, run down and uncomfortable. There is mold and rust. Hair in the bed that was not ours. Only good thing was the location, which is probably why nothing gets done to make it better. So disappointed. My husband never complains and he noticed and was upset about the condition of the place."

"Lovely place, great location, very clean. Beds were comfortable. My kids liked the pool. Free breakfast was a nice touch. As mentioned in previous reviews, yes the barn-door on the bathroom lacks a sense of privacy. Yes, there is a fee for parking, even though the booking sites all say free parking (approximately $16 as of March 2026). But we would definitely stay here again. I felt the price I paid was fair."

"It was fine to mid. There was no phone in the room and the bathroom smelled like sewage the entire three days we were there which was gross. The breakfast was okay ish. They had scrambled “eggs” with pancakes and sausage one day and biscuits and gravy the other day we ate there. The cafeteria was clean and, while quite full, had ample seating. The inn itself was rather large. The pool was rather small and a bit creepy due to the lack of lighting and its sort of far proximity to the actual inn itself. Front desk staff was cool. Beds were fine. Pillows are pretty ample. Room a nice size. Pretty quiet. We found the stay to be a fair deal for the price and proximity to historic downtown. It was clean and the shower was nice. "

"The room was clean, bed comfortable with good mattress. The complimentary breakfast had lots of good choices, much better than others we’ve stayed at. The only complaint is there is no parking and you have no choice but to pay for valet parking in their underground garage at $27.50 / night"

"First time spending over $400 for a 2 star for location. Location was epic, right in the middle of old St. Augustine. Adding $25 to park your car was ridiculous. Granted, price point was last minute (a week in advance) booking through expedia,and during spring break, but I'll probably avoid the central location next time for a quieter sleep as the location was definitely not condusive to peaceful slumber."
