Everything about this Turkish styled hotel was great. The staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the manic/amazing old town. I highly recommend staying at the Dersaadet Hotel. It offers an incredibly convenient location just behind the Blue Mosque, along with charming rooms that transport you back in time while remaining spotless and fully functional. On top of that, it has one of the friendliest receptions I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. Staying there felt a bit like visiting enthusiastic distant relatives: I was welcomed with hot tea and a Turkish delight on a very cold and snowy day, which alone made my day. A small welcome gift in the room was also a nice touch. I didn’t ask, but it felt like a family-run business—everyone working at the hotel was warm and friendly, both with guests and with each other, creating a genuinely positive atmosphere. All of this was topped off the next morning by a truly delicious Turkish breakfast on the rooftop. I would definitely not hesitate to return the next time I’m in Istanbul.

The staff was very nice and had delicious apple tea upon my arrival. They were very accommodating and even coordinated my airport pickup and drop off. I was surprised to find a personal note and a small souvenir when i entered my hotel room. The hotel was also walking distance to the hagia sophia and Blue Mosque. I really felt at home. Located within walking distance to The Blue Mosque, as well as plenty of shopping. The staff was great. There is a beautiful rooftop bar that we didn't want to leave. They also hold their breakfast buffet up there. This was our first trip to Istanbul, but I wouldn't hesitate to return to The Dersaadet

We received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful corner suite with views looking out to the Sea of Marmara. Bountiful breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace with seagulls soaring above.
