I got a friendly welcome when I arrived by Mustafa and when I got settled he recommended an excursion and a visit to a Hammam which was enjoyable and very relaxing, there was some great views from the top floor breakfast buffet 😊

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel. Starting with breakfast. It was the best we have had in our travels, The choices were wonderful and the amount was plenty. The men at the front desk were extremely helpful with every request. The location is perfect for restaurants and all the attractions. Everyone should stay here when visiting Istanbul.

Excellent Hotel . Room was clean and tidy overall well presented . Breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice for anyone. Staff were very good and helpful . It was a short walk to the main Sultanahmet Tourist areas where also transport services connections are close by . Good restaurants and amenities close by . It was very reasonably priced . Transport from and to the Airport service was provided at a reasonable cost and was reliable . I would certainly recommend Emina Suktan Hotel.

We had an ocean view corner room. Lovely old opening windows with a great view. Breakfast was homemade and tasty. The rooftop area was dated but what a view! We could've spent all night up there. Overall a little dated and very good.

We booked this property thinking it will be clean and convenient . But it was terrible. Washroom was leaking room has broken outlets linens had stains and smell. I got stuck in the elevator and keeps pushing emergency button but no help I somehow keeps banging the door and it opened we stayed 2 days and flew to cappadocia we had remaining 4 days at this hotel but we didn’t come back and booked another hotel .

Average Hotel

The staff is very friendly. However the rooms are not very well maintained. The room we were staying in 302# the shower was leaking onto the ground. There was cracks in the sink. The toilet seat was very loose almost felt like it was going to break. Its is definitely a cheaper hotel and it shows. for $650 for 10 nights you definitely get what you pay for. They did offer complimentary breakfast which was from 8-10 Am which is pretty reasonable. The same food was provided every day. They did have WIFI which helped alot. On the floor there was paint stuck to the floor boards which i felt like they could have cleaned up. Also in the shower there was a decent amount of mold. Overall it was average what helps boost the rating is the staff hospitality. If it wasn't for that i would give it 1 out of 5 stars.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and it is an hotel where i stayed in 4 nights in 2015. Well a lot of things have changed in a bad way since this period: - the only ++ aspect is the historical building - negative : > the towels were dirty, ripped and stained (see 2 picturee below). I asked several times at the reception for fresh and clean towels ! Seems like a luxury in this hotel ! > the fridge is disgusting : instead of being white it has yellow stained as you can see on the pictures... > the breakfast : breakfast is poor with little variety. The picture shown below is taken at 9h30, and you don't have a lof of options left (breakfast is served until 10 am). And the lady at the breakfast spends most of her time on her cellphone or in the stairs talking... not professionnal > bedroom : out of the 3 days we stayed, on 2 days we didn't have any hot water and last evening the A/C was not refreshing the room properly ! So nice when the economy bedroom costed us 200 euros for 3 nights. This hotel is not properly managed, need some real renovation and the service and hospitality is a shame ! Didn't see any of the great turkish hospotality here. To sum up , if you have money and to not ruin your holidays go somewhere else. Compared to 2015, i was more than disappointed ! Be careful as most of the good reviews are old, which might reflect a change in this hotel management.
