Good nice clean place near heart of Istanbul

Nice young man, I think the son of owners helped me up a narrow staircase with my luggage. The room was a reasonable size for being in the heart of Istanbul, and was nice, had a fridge (with 2 bottles of water) table & chairs and a comfy bed and a good AC. The area is very convenient to the heart of Istanbul, close to Galata tower, Galata port and near the Trams to cross the river to see the Mosques and more in the old town, also close to the ferries to lots of places. The Metro is a 10 min walk (a bit of a climb) away. Overall this would be a great place except for the noise situation. Ultimately I feel like they have a conflict of interest between their hotel and restaurant, which blasts loud (though great Greek) music till well past midnight. Not sure why the restaurant needs to play the music so loud and till so late considering that people come to have a good nights sleep. Only other concern was that rooms have the same old fashioned sort of keys, I'm not sure if my key would open one of the other doors.

Öncelikle işletmeci arkadaşa çok teşekkür ederim, zira sabah erken saatte otele gelmeme rağmen ricamı kırmadı ve odamı check-in saatinden çok önce odamı verdi. Konum olarak çok iyi ama bulması biraz zor : )))

Das Hotel war dreckig . Die Zimmer mit Schimmel befallen . Bettwäsche hat gestunken . Wir haben nach einem Tag das Hotel verlassen weil es nicht auszuhalten war . Das Personal war sehr bemüht die Lage war gut aber es war dreckig !

Die Unterkunft war sehr dreckig . Zimmer sehr klein und überall nasse Wände und hinterm Bett Schimmel . Wir haben nach einem Tag das Hotel verlassen obwohl wir für 7 Tage gebucht haben . Es war nicht auszuhalten .

Nous sommes venu en famille pour notre séjour à Istanbul et l’hôtel est très bien placé.Nous avions 2 chambres propres avec petit déjeuner inclus pour un prix très raisonnable.il est vrai que nous voyageons beaucoup et nous demandons pas des hôtels 5 étoiles donc pour le luxe il faut voir ailleurs.Le personnel est accueillant et prêt à rendre service et c’est cela qui compte c’est même dommage que mon anglais est faible car j’aurai bien voulu avoir des conversations avec ces gens d’une gentillesse inégalée.Je leur souhaite bonne continuation
Nous sommes à 200m de la tour galata qui est une merveille.

We have nothing really good to comment on the Gladden Rooms, on arrival the kettle was broken (which I had exchanged straight away), toilet didn’t flush automatically, the bedroom light throughout our stay kept dimming, TV kept turning on without warning, breakfast was cold, ants on the floor.

Pas conforme aux photos, les chambres sont plutôt propres mais à rénover surtout au niveau de la salle d’eau. La chasse d’eau ne fonctionne pas correctement, l’eau coule en continue (pas très écolo et très dérangeant), une odeur de renfermé désagréable à notre arrivée dans la chambre. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et les marches sont en colimaçon et très étroites. Le personnel n’est pas très accueillant. Nous nous sommes retrouvées avec la porte d’entrée fermée lors de notre retour à l’hôtel le soir (après minuit) nous n’avons eu aucune indication sur les horaires ni sur comment rentrer en cas de fermeture de l’accueil, la personne de l’accueil est finalement venue nous ouvrir la porte (je pense que nous l’avons dérangé). Pour les points positifs, nous n’avons pas été dérangé par des bruits extérieurs et l’hôtel est plutôt bien placé.

Wenn ihr ein 5-Sterne-Hotel mit Aussicht auf den Bosporus, unpersönlicher Hotelatmosphäre sucht, dann seid ihr bei dieser Wahl falsch. Wenn ihr jedoch ein einfaches Hotel, mit sauberen Zimmern, und einem sehr freundlich und bemühten Hotelpersonal sucht, dann liegt ihr mit dieser Wahl hier richtig. Die wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein großes Lob an das Hotelmanagement, das sich wirklich persönlich Mühe gibt, um den Gast zufrieden zu stellen.

Also für den Preis wie ich die Reise bekommen habe war es top da habe ich nicht auszusetzen in der Regel mit 300€ und mehr ist es eine Zumutung Die Zimmer sind klein aber sauber die Betten sind sehr gemütlich das Personal sehr nett leider kein Aufzug das war anstrengend das Hotel befindet sich in einer Gasse war erstmal nicht zu finden. Under Frühstück war auch gut. Im grossen und ganzen war ich für den Preis echt zu Frieden vielen Dank
