Overall an enjoyable 4 night stay with family. Ulhas was very helpful in arranging the hotel transfer from Airport for a reasonable cost. He also made sure we had a smooth check in and helped hauling one of the large bags up the stairs to the 4th floor. There's a 24 hour super market just a short walk away and plenty of restaurants around the property. Nasip ET Kebap was good with very economical pricing and quantity. There were 2 drawbacks however, 1. Staircase is narrow and it was a bit difficult and riskly carrying large luggage up to the 4th floor. 2. Streets around the property are narrow and of cobblstone and very steep as the property is located quite downhill compared to nearby attractions. But I knew this already. I will stay here again if future but I will probably book a room at a lower floor.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staircase is very steep, so exercise caution! Faruk was extremely kind and helpful, always ready to offer a cup of tea. Right upon arrival, he sat down with me and went over a map, providing transit options and walking times for each of the major attractions as well as some recommendations for food and places to visit. He also loaned me an Istanbul card so I didn't have to buy one for the tram, just had to refill the fares. The location is at the bottom of the hill under Sultanahmet, so it was close but a little uphill. Taxis can't enter the narrow street to reach the door, but it's close to a wider street and not far to walk. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe.

Istandul Stay

A little confusion about check-in time in the beginning, but the hotel very kindly sorted that out. The apartment was clean. We could leave the key at reception for the room to be cleaned during our stay also. Air conditioning was very good. The staff were always available and extremely helpful. Arranged airport transfer at a very reasonable price also. Thankyou very much.

Vid första anblicken var det inte vad jag hade föreställt mig. Men efter fyra nätters vistelse lämnade jag det med fullständig tillfredsställelse. Rent, vänlig personal och en bekväm plats att sova och koppla av. Och bra lokal om syftet är turism. Rekommenderar jag att bo där men försöka boka rum med fönster mot gatan då blir perfekt med mera ljus 🤗🤗

Nonostante le incomprensioni, perché per errore (era scritto in turco) abbiamo preso la camera nel seminterrato (bodrum kat, quindi attenzione quando prenotate a NON prenderla), il proprietario si e’ dimostrato comprensivo e disponibile a trovare una soluzione alternativa (la camera nel seminterrato era improponibile!) quindi il giudizio è’ positivo
