Turkish House was great! The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was clean and convenient. Additionally, the hotel is proximus to a great number of attractions. It's about a five-minute walk to rooftop restaurants, Ocean front views, and The Hagia Sophia.

This hotel was the absolute BEST! It was so nice and cozy and the staff were amazing. They went out of their way to help me plan what to do each day and they were so concerned with my happiness. If you are considering this hotel--DO IT. It's the perfect boutique hotel to stay in. Close to everything, safe and wonderful. I will absolutely stay there again. The breakfast with brewed coffee was the cherry on top. I loved my room. I loved the location. And mostly I loved the staff. Probably my favorite hotel experience in my travel in years. Highly, highly recommend! So grateful to their team who made my stay perfect!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the walkability in the area, the included breakfast and comfortable accommodations greatly. The staff spoke English fluently. A great feature on the main level is flooring you can see through to the rocky foundation below.

The hotel is situated in a tiny alley way and in this part of town most of the boutique hotels are like this. It was very conveniently located to all the major historical and food sites so we walked the 4 days we stayed in Istanbul. All the hotel staff were very friendly & knowledgeable about the area and were very helpful in arranging whatever accommodation we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends & family.

The place is well located, close to all important places downtown. Our room faced the main street and street noise can be an issue. There are other rooms that surely don’t have that issue. Well decorated place and clean. In spite of the noise, would definitely recommend.

Great hotel. A real boutique hotel with lovely staff. The rooms are pretty and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. The smaller rooms at the back are quieter than the larger ones at the front. The breakfasts are delicious (ask for menemen). It's really close to the Blue mosque and Agia Sofia.

Enchanting place!

In my brief stay in Turkey, this hotel was so good. I felt well attended and cared for Firat. Nice guy who met me at the hotel when I arrived. Good location, delicious breakfast and clean place. I recommend this hotel if you want something simple, quite and private. I hope to come back soon!

This delightful small hotel has been newly renovated and it is spotless and comfortable. We ate on the breakfast patio which is lovely. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful; they made me feel at home. The breakfast was Turkish style and was delicious and the location was perfect for seeing all the sights. it is about a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia. Great hotel, highly recommended!

Charming hotel in old town

Comfortable, clean room, excellent breakfast and helpful staff, we very much enjoyed our stay. Our 6’ 1” teen son slept in the same room on the twin pull out bed. He said it was comfortable, no complaints. Location is perfect for walking to many of the old town sites in Istanbul. Fun detail, the main floor has plexiglass in spots to see Roman ruins under the current hotel.

This hotel was a last minute booking to save us from a terrible hotel we had found ourselves in in Istanbul, and from the moment we were greeted by the manager Chisam, we knew that things would be better. The staff all around cannot be praised enough -- they went out of their way to make our experience as positive as possible, including packing breakfasts for our 4:30 AM departure. The building itself is really lovely, a perfect combination of old charm (also literally old, you can see ruins through glass panels in the dining area) and new amenities (the shower was perfect). A caveat that the bathroom in the family suite at least was essentially a frosted glass cubicle -- with no door on the actual toilet area. If your family is not particularly close, it's less than ideal. Also a heads up that there were roosters nearby -- in the grand scheme of noise in Istanbul, it was a quieter spot, but you should still expect plenty of activity from the street at all hours. To end on a final positive, the breakfast was perfect. Truly one of our better meals on the trip. I would certainly stay here again.
