The property is very old, our room was for two people not three as described, extra bed was very uncomfortable. We booked full Bosphorus view room but we got partial sea view!!! We tried to cancel the reservation and requested a refund from the first night but our request was rejected so our entire trip to Istanbul was affected! The termostat in the room was not working so we were very cold at night and we got sick! I am not sure how this hotel is rated as 5 stars when they don’t even have a pool. I will not book a stay in this hotel ever again.

Best View in Istanbul?
The location cannot be beat, with room and expansive terrace overlooking the "First Bridge" crossing Bosphorous Asia-Europe for 100th Anniversary of Turkiye's Republic Day. So close to the water, with unobstructed view all the way to Topkapi. Excellent hotel service. Parking very convenient. Pet friendly. About 75m to Ortakoy ferry & area with endless restaurants and small shops so popular with locals. Further east & north about 1km are city's chic waterfront nightclubs, nestled near the Fer Mas dealership featuring Ferraris & Maseratis for sale, so it is upscale and safe neighborhood. Narrow winding streets, hidden expansive courtyards, enticing alleyways all reinforce your decision to visit Istanbul. The facility can use some updating, so hope the relatively new Radisson ownership may decide to invest further to upgrade the brand to be on par with the so many other offerings on Bosphorous shoreline, listed here just casually from memory: 3 along the shore that are based or affiliated in Hong Kong, 1 Bangkok, 1 Toronto, 1 Geneva, and if a bit further inland a bit from the shore: 1 high end and 1 even higher end France based, several McLean (Virginia, USA) based, lots TRK based, and even more with brand based in Bethesda (Maryland, USA), and one very high end well inland located in top shopping area that is France based. Lots of options in IST for guest to choose; Radisson Blu should consider upgrades to attract clientele commensurate with its prime location.

I really feel sorry that this hotel has this location.First of all I booked for a junior suite with a panoramic view and as you can see in the pictures all I got is a view of the restaurant’s roof !!!! The curtains and the blackout are torn and the A/C is full of mold. Then I was downgraded to a room due to no availability of another suite.

Location was great! Concierge need to inform themselves better with ferry routes/pricing and Bosphorus tour options, as they gave us false and conflicting information. A quick search online gave us better options for travelling around the city. Rooms are spacious and overall clean, except for some mold around some shower tiles. Breakfast was excellent and the view of the Bosphorus was even better.

Amazing service and spectacular location and views
This was truly an amazing 5 night stay in the heart if Ortakent. The service was top notch and our room had fabulous views of the Bosphorus. The food was excellent and the location is a throw away from the water and all the stores and restaurants. I cant say enough about this hotel and we will definitely be back next time we are in Istanbul. Thank you to the great staff for a wonderful stay!

What a horrible place - dirty, location feels like a war zone, busy - load at day and night- No way to get a cab- Traffic a nightmare- Fights outside entrance at night- condition of facility is like an abandoned building outdated and broken. Do not stay here.

Stayed here for about two weeks with my mom. At first we were placed in the Annex building which was unpleasant. The room was dated, a bit smelly and had an obstructed view of some type of machinery. Fortunately, we were able to switch rooms in the main building on the lower floor. While this room was convenient to get to breakfast and the gym, and had the most gorgeous sea view, it did come with some cons, notably: - it’s located beside a club and yachts that sea sail blasting music until wee hours of the night if you value your sleep, I do not recommend. - there is carpet and velvet furniture throughout. I wish it wasn’t for allergy/hygiene reasons. - the AC was archaic and a pain to work. The temperature of the rooms would fluctuate (hot/cold). The room was a bit archaic and definitely needs some modernization. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious every morning with a huge selection of options which was very convenient. The location was also stellar. Being by the sea was special.

The location is great, few steps from restaurants and bars, as well as access to various river tours. The terraces open to guests are great, but best of all is the room we had with terrace overlooking the bosphorus river with a spectacular view of the bridge. The bathroom was a little on small side, but this was minor Overall hit the mark for relaxing in the sun, and getting out and about.

Room is in terrible condition, dirty, very old, not clean, not even close to what it looks like on the pictures. Bathrooms in very bad condition. I paid very high price for this suite room, but not worth it at all. I guess I only got the view from for what I paid for. Rest is terrible for the room. I do not recommend it.

Has amazing views of the Bosphorus, great breakfast spread. Staff (in general) are cordial but not overly welcoming. The room was the saddest part. It had a nice terrace with view to Bosphorus, but the room itself showed the wear and tear. The grout in the shower had mold (black stains), the cealing in the bathroom was peeling off, the wood frame around the doors and baseboard showed signs of being wet and paint peeling off. No carpert in room, felt very cold. Went to see another room next door, they did have the carpet. Just not the expected value for the price.

Location is amazing, the view of the Posphorous bridge is magical, Roshim at the reception was very professional, great attitude and very helpful.

This truly is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very dated and old, and not cleaned thoroughly. We upgraded to a suite after 1 night because the room was so bad. The staff told us that we didn’t pay and then threatened to call security on us on our last day! I cannot believe the lack of customer service and disrespect.

it was one of our hotel to stay in phosphorus area. Unfortunately it turned into an old facility. It needs serious cleaning and overhaul. Prices are too high. Food had no taste. I ordered an omelet and what I was served was very small size possibly one egg omelet for 100tl. Very disappointed. Regardless stuff is very nice serving with smile.
