"Casa Alfareros felt like a perfectly placed magical Bed & Breakfast in the middle of central Tlaquepaque. Everything was within walking distance -easily manageable by even my 80 year old parents. The staff was wonderful: very friendly, respectful, and helpful. However, Delia made starting the day amazing! She made you feel like you were at your Tia's kitchen eating a delicious homemade breakfast - Breakfast was the best!! Way better and more delicious than going to the local restaurants for breakfast! My whole family: my mother, father, brother, my two nieces, and brother in-law enjoyed their stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we all agreed Delia was amazing!!"

"This hotel is a beautiful authentic Mexican boutique hotel. It feels warm and friendly, like Mexico itself. Thanks to the front desk staff, Carlos and the girls. Ricardo is a true gentleman. Full of interesting facts and information. Thank you Hector for the grand tour of both properties. I really enjoyed seeing all the different plants on the property. I can't say enough about Carlos at the bar. A true gentleman and a scholar. Thank you Carlos for the conversations. I really enjoyed the art gallery on the property. It kind of rambles through the hacienda. I'm really happy with the few pieces I purchased. I realize the breakfast was included in the stay, however. The coffee was weak and the eggs were dry. I asked for ketchup and was advised they didn't have any ? The pancakes were really good and the fruit juices were real nice. Aside from the small observation at the end of this review, I'd stay at El Villa del Ensueno in a heartbeat ! Authentic style Mexican hacienda with a nice pool. Warm friendly staff. Close to all the amenities. Metro station, taco stands, huge mall. Thanks you for making this vacation a memorable one !"

"Welcomed by a beautiful couple that were very helpful upon arrival. Drove in the dark and the husband was so kind to step out of Casa de Retoño to assist me and guide where to park and unload. He actually took my rental and parked it in a safe place. The location does't have a parking lot. But he made a point to make sure my car was safe. I stay on the second floor in room "Chiapas" it was quietly tucked away and so peaceful. As I was traveling alone visiting my family in the surrounding towns. I was completely comfortable. I really liked and safely of the property 24hrs around the clock. Just 6 min walk to the main square was a BIG plus!!!! I would definitely stay here again when I return. Bonus I enjoyed a home cooked traditional meal every morning with his lovely wife. Lovely conversation and a shared a nice cup of coffee. She was very pleasant to talk to and extremely very informational on tip around the area. I love plants and the place is surrounded with plenty of oxygen with gorgeous plants. Hasta la próxima! Rosa"

"Interesting old casa converted into VRBO. Our room was dark. Lights were few and dim. If you're not used to Mexican neighborhood s you might find the street noise bothersome. Carlos was a VERY gracious host and the location is really convenient to Tlaquepaque Centro."
