Classic Nags Head Style Cottage

"Our stay at 'Mermaid's Pillow' was nothing short of amazing! The check-in process was super easy and the house was spotless. The location is perfect since it's just steps from a crosswalk and quick beach access. The pool was perfect to relax in after a day at the beach. The decor is so well thought out and just adds to this being a perfect beach house. The host was very attentive to any questions we had. All of this combined made our stay a 5 star experience and we will be back!"

"Adorable cottage! We enjoyed being right on the beach and having the large covered deck to sit and relax. We had 6 adults and it fit us all very comfortably. Perfect location for walking to coffee shops, ice cream, restaurants, and the YMCA which we used multiple days. Would definitely come back to this cottage!"

"This house was perfect for our family. The open floor plan of the kitchen and family room with plenty of seats at the dining table made it easy to congregate together. The outdoor furniture on every balcony and pool deck was utilized at one time or another. The property was in close proximity to beach access and had great views. The backyard set up was fantastic. The pool, hot tub and grill with games in the backyard were perfect for fun in the sun. The host was informative and quick to respond. We had a wonderful stay!"

"This property is magical! Relaxing on the porch hammock swing overlooking the water is a treat. The outdoor shower allows you to clean up after a day at the beach or sound while watching a beautiful sunset. The hosts are amazing and a breeze to communicate with. The place is cozy, clean, artsy, and has a story behind it as well. Everything you need is included, down to laundry pods and nightlights. I highly recommend!"

"Perfect oceanfront location! Very private and cozy feeling. Very well appointed kitchen! Lots of pans and bowls! Also, easy access ti everything. Breakers is a gem. Fantastic customer service, we had some confusion with remotes but, it was taken care of right away, same day. Thank for the memories!"

"Home had everything we needed and then some. Kitchen was very well equipped; beds and pillows very comfortable; and convenience of a washer/dryer was appreciated. It was a short walk to the beach over a set of stairs with a platform and seats overlooking the beach. Great for evening and early morning coffee. There are many restaurants, seafood shops and grocery stores in the vicinity— no need to venture out to the busy main road. We enjoyed every minute of our week and hated it to end! Thank you for a great time!"

"Perfect spot for a couple. We appreciated the fenced in yard for our pup. The cottages are centrally located. It was a short walk to get to the beach and Surfin’ Spoons is right up the road. The bathroom has been updated and the kitchen had anything we needed. We cannot wait to come back."
