"This Ryokan was amazing. The staff were welcoming and gracious. The rooms are huge and traditional japanese style with futons and tatami mats. Each room had its own separate hot spring bath as well as separate men's and women's shared baths. The food was delicious and filling. "We love the food. Everything was delicious. That was thr best thing we experienced in this hotel. And also they have free drinks. The room is spacious. Bathroom looks clean. The room is spacious but I not sure how clean the room is. The bedside table has very visible dust because of that I think maybe they also don't vaccuum their bed, sofa and carpet. The bed and pillows are not comfortable."

"This property is beautiful and very relaxing. The private onsen on the balcony was a dream. It’s so lush in the surrounding areas. It was amazing just to soak in the hot springs bath in the quiet of the outdoors. We were a little concerned because of the reviews. There is nothing to be concerned about if you understand what you’re getting. It’s a quiet resort with not much close by. There is a Family Mart if you aren’t eating at the restaurant but that’s it. We explored Hakone for the day and took the bus to a stop right in front of the hotel. We didn’t use the shuttle from Gore Station. If you have lots of luggage, you might want to taxi. We did the kaseiki meal. We had hoped it would be in the room, as we thought was traditional, but it was in the restaurant. The food wasn’t our favorite but the service was nice. We’re very glad we went as a day trip/single overnight from Tokyo. "
