Sunset Beach Cottage: private hot tub & kayaks

"Unbeatable view! We spend most of our time on the huge deck just taking in the view. Also enjoyed kayaking, sitting down by the water, and soaking in the hot tub. The house had so many extras (kayaks, life jackets, water toys, beach towels, outdoor shower, DVD movies, games, puzzles) as well as a fully stocked kitchen, comfy master bed and cozy couch. We couldn't use the outdoor fire pit due to the burn ban but that looked pretty awesome too. Private location. Clear and easy instructions for check in/check out. Would totally recommend."

"This is the best place to unwind and enjoy nature. We did it all, kayak,paddleboards canoeing and just enjoyed the beautiful veiw. Loved it. We made fantastic memories and we will be back!! Thank you for sharing this peaceful place."

"The location & views are AMAZING at this property. Walking the beach & gazing at Mt. Rainier from the epic deck was just wonderful. Our only issue was that there was a lot to be desired in the cleanliness of the house. The owner said he would be remedying the issue."

"This spot was magical. I came with a few women for an art retreat and we loved this home tucked in the woods. The apple orchard in the front yard had a family of deer there all day long nibbling on the leaves and lounging the shade. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end each day."

"The property was nice and in a great location. The host was great and communicated well. The only downsides were; (1) the stairs to the sleeping loft are really steep, which would be problematic for people with mobility issues, and (2) the shower stall was on the smallish side, so if a guest was on the larger side, then the shower stall would be snug."

"Excellent views. Very clean and well maintained. Very quite, peacefull area. Great, well maintained sauna and hot tub. The one issue is that it's listed as having direct beach access, which unfortunately due to a storm at some point in the past, is no longer the case due to the erosion of the bank and loss of the stairs down to the beach. You can still reach the beach with a 5 minute stroll, but it's somewhat unclear where you can walk, as there are No Tresspassing signs that state it includes the beach and tidal areas. The host said it was fine to walk up the coast, but, again, it's a little unclear. Very responsive host who got back to me with a few questions in minutes. Would highly recomend with the one beach access caveat."

"My family had a wonderfully relaxing time staying right on the water at this beach front home. We played on the beach, kayaked, and had dinner out in Olympia (highly recommend Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar). This home was perfect for getting away and relaxing (amazing hot tub views) and also getting a nice dinner in town. The kids loved the trolley for getting up and down from the driveway to the home. The home itself almost feels like a boat because you're right on the water! We'd definitely like to come back."
