"The shower was not hot, was just warm had to cancel my stay for Friday only stayed two nights "

"A lovely place and great for a couple. Comfortable bed for a 6’2” human, decent shower and the under floor heating kept it warm throughout. Lovely main living area with plenty of wood for a couple of evenings in front of the log burner. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with a good fridge freezer and compact dishwasher and washing machine. Being picky, the kitchen is overlooked from the other property with no blinds or other means of privacy after dark. To sum up in three words, lovely and cosy."

"Our first stay in a shepherd's hut and it was absolutely brilliant everything we could ask for and more. The hosts were very helpful and friendly too. Lots of walks and fishing to be done in the area. Would definitely go again."

"Arrived early evening looking forward to having a meal after a long drive to find out that there is no food service for the length of my stay. I feel this should have been made clear at the time of booking. Although not the Half Moons fault, there was no WiFi available due to a damaged phone line caused by road works. As I was on a business trip this was compulsory as the phone signal in the area is next to null. The room was comfortable and clean, only complaint with the room is the boiler that is situated in the bathroom continuously switching on and off which was noisy. "

"A lovely little remote getaway. A little chilly initially, but lovely and cosy once warmed up, and especially once we googled how to set the timer on the heater. Owners lovely, welcoming people, but not intrusive."
