"It is an old school roadside motel. The current owners have done a great job renovating it. Great value. The rooms are on the small side but that is just due to the age of the place."

"Super clean, very equipped-I cook all meals and there wasn’t one thing missing in the kitchen!! Layout was perfect. Lots of relaxing places and touches. Visited son at WCU and his friends were able to stop in and out and played ping pong and had a nice fire at the river. Perfect location to the campus."

"This cabin sits above a beautiful quiet lake and is wonderfully centrally located to destination spots like Cashiers and Sapphire, Maggie Valley and Cherokee, and Franklin and Bryson City. It is an ideal place to stay if you are into hiking and chasing waterfalls, as there are plenty around.The host is highly communicative and accomadating. I would stay here again.It was great for two people, but I would think it tight for four adults (even with the two bedrooms), given the overall size of the home and the fact that there is only a small single bath.It fit our needs perfectly."
