"The cabin is gorgeous! It's even better in person, the pictures here do not do it justice. The grounds are beautiful and the location has so much to offer! We enjoyed our stay so much, that we plan on going back again this year and probably twice a year every year going forward. "This house on the lake and the surrounding area has everything you could ask for in a family mountain get away. For our family of 16, including 10 adults, we found the house to have plenty of room to spread out, or gather for group activities. The kitchen was spacious, well stocked, and had plenty of storage area. We especially enjoyed the outdoors, the decks and fire pit areas for lounging and taking in the views, and the dock for every type of lake activity. The host was extremely responsive and provided a nice list of recommended activities of which we took full advantage. I would highly recommend this home to any group looking for a mountain vacation."

"We enjoyed our stay even with our hiccups. I personally did not vet the availability of the amenities because I truly didn’t know I needed to. So unfortunately those were not something we were able to enjoy. Bear Lake Reserve, the community, could offer folks a disclaimer for that since most are not familiar with, “on and off season”. We did get to enjoy one dinner at the lake club the last night we stayed. it’s a trek by car to the club from this property since it is 5 miles up and very winding roads.The lake is beautiful and the wildlife is heartwarming. I bet this place is amazing during the on season. In our 5 day 4 night stay, we ventured outside the gates to Sylva, Cashiers, Highlands, and visited Bridal Falls, and Dry Falls along our way. Overall we took full advantage of the surrounding towns and what the area provides. We were very lucky and had lovely weather. Thank you for hosting us Bill! "
"It was just the perfect stay. The house was extremely clean and it had every necessary item we needed for a home away from home, while we visited WCU. We did not have cellular service, but we did have WIFI, so we didn’t miss it. The bed was very comfortable. I have actually decided to buy a new mattress since sleeping on that one."
