NEW FOREST COTTAGE W/GRILL & SCREENED IN PATIO:HIKE, FISH, GOLF, WATERFALLS

"The street name would have made the left turn easier...we had difficulty locating the house at first. We couldn't light the fire pit, but the host quickly brought an additional propane tank. We still couldn't light the pit, but we enjoyed the screened-in porch and the front porch! We LOVED the couch! The bed was also comfortable. We couldn't find an ironing board, so we used the counter with a towel to iron before our wedding. We found everything else we needed: pizza pans, popcorn bowl, and wine corkscrew, We loved the amenities and did the neighborhood nature walk a few times! We also enjoyed local waterfalls and epic hikes. Highly recommend this house!"

"We had a relaxing long weekend. The house was cozy and comfortable. Our host provided some games and puzzles that were perfect for our 5yo and 7yo grandsons. They loved the bunk beds and Bear decorations. We hiked the Bear Lake Park trails, took a boat ride on the Lake and saw some wildlife, we played on the beach and had the pool almost all to ourselves! We had all of the amenities needed for a great family weekend."

"The condo is spacious and beautiful. It is immaculately clean and well maintained and sits on beautiful Bear Lake behind the Lake Club Community Building and pool with a postcard view of the lake. Almost everything we needed was provided save the bathroom toiletries and cream and sugar for the Keurig coffee maker which was just odd given the attention to detail elsewhere. What we did not know-and you should -is that this is a very remote Resort with no cellphone service. There is wi-fi and GPS is on and off. I mention this because these roads are the steepest and windyest I've ever driven on. At night there are no street or overhead lights. Dangerous if you are out after dark ( just don't). Because of this we got lost a lot-at night and during the day. This is such a spectacular and special place but it needs to seriously reconsider guest safety. We need many more exit signs that state the route back to the Greeters Cottage along the 5 mile exit road OR stripe the exit route in green vs. the current yellow everywhere to distinguish."

"The property was amazing. Beautiful home and spacious for our family of 14. The house is on the lake and not too far from the Lake Club. The house had fishing rods, paddle boards, kayaks,and life jackets. We had teenage boys and adults that enjoyed all those. Wonderful wrap around deck with furniture and games (foosball, etc). The guys loved playing golf one day. Owner was very responsive if we had a question. Would absolutely rent this same house again if/when planning another trip to Bear Lake."

"Beautiful, quiet and well stocked. Close to the clubhouse, which is why we initially chose this property for our family. Host was incredibly responsive and provided sufficient information for the property and surrounding area. Great stay and would love to return. Highly recommend!"

"We’ve visited Bear Lake for the past 5 years and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed! Beautiful home, beautiful views, we had everything we needed! It’s amazing that the kids can walk to the lake house, pool and marina from the house. Being on the lake took our vacation to the next level and this will be the place we stay every time we visit from now on! Beds comfy Kitchen appointed Location/layout perfection "

"Cabin up in the woods was very nice. Quite remote and enjoyable. Late July had fog every night and was such a great change in atmosphere to unplug from the Charlotte area. Didn’t have time to visit lake but the house was very comfortable and equipped perfect for a family getaway."
