"We have stayed at Bear lake reserve before and this was by far our favorite home we have stayed in! All the beds and bedding were very comfortable, the home was beautifully decorated and very well kept. It was extremely clean in every corner. The view out the back was gorgeous, you feel like you’re in a tree house! We loved making a fire in the fireplace outside. There was plenty of firewood provided! Everything you could possibly need was provided even coffee filters! We also loved how close it was to the clubhouse! We will definitely stay here again! 5 stars!"

"This cabin sits above a beautiful quiet lake and is wonderfully centrally located to destination spots like Cashiers and Sapphire, Maggie Valley and Cherokee, and Franklin and Bryson City. It is an ideal place to stay if you are into hiking and chasing waterfalls, as there are plenty around.The host is highly communicative and accomadating. I would stay here again.It was great for two people, but I would think it tight for four adults (even with the two bedrooms), given the overall size of the home and the fact that there is only a small single bath.It fit our needs perfectly."

"The house and property were beautiful and quiet. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Chickens roamed the yard every morning. The covered front porch was great when it rained. The owners set the house up with everything you need. The property is only a 10-15 minute drive to grocery, restaurants, and any kind of shopping you may need. Cell service was really pretty good as well! We will definitely return!!"

"Fantastic house perfect for our group of 6 adults, including 2 grandparents, and 2 teenagers. We loved all the fun games on the porch. We played darts, fuseball and shuffleboard every night. The kitchen was the best stocked of any house I’ve stayed in. The beds were comfortable. And we loved having the kayaks to explore the lake and head down to the lake club. We enjoyed golf one day, rented a boat the next, and we played pickleball a few of the nights. And we loved having the fire pit to make smores. "
