"This looks like a renovated motel with small rooms and decorated like a cabin inside. It's on a noisy traffic corner but quiet inside to sleep except we could hear the people through the wall next door. We sat outside and there was a little bird that had a nest that was feeding the babies that we enjoyed. I would recommend this because it was clean but there are no amenities on the property. We enjoyed our stay and liked having a kitchen in it. Only thing missing was a wine opener but we didn't want to bother anybody about it because there is no office or staff around. We stayed off season in June"

"For almost 100 years, this has been an oasis tucked into an aspen stand beneath craggy cliffs and a stone’s throw from a gorgeous valley meadow with an alpine stream wandering through it. You can bring your own food to cook in the amazing cabin kitchens that would make getting snowed in a treat, or you can dine on well-made and locally-sourced choices on the restaurant menu. Then you can stop off in the open spaces to chill, book a sauna session, toast marshmallows in the firepit under the stars, and have the kids wild out in the play areas and ample grounds to wander before you retreat to the most comfortable cabins with beds and pillows as soft as clouds for a restful night. This is my favorite place to unwind and unplug. "

"As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe during my stay. The location was great, the staff was friendly, my room at the hotel was decently sized with a big closet, and private bathroom. The bed was a little too firm for my liking but it was acceptable. I had a street facing room and had my windows open at night. I did wake up quite a bit due to traffic noise. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay and I would stay here again. "

"We loved that the back door leads right to the beach. It is a family friendly place and it was so nice to be able to let the kids right outside our room. The pool and hot tub was very nice and clean. Everyone is super friendly. It was very nice to have a kitchen in the room so we could save some money on food. The room got a little warm because there is no AC, but there were fans. The pillows were not very comfy, would definitely bring pillows. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at Emerald Bay Village. The beds and bedding were SO comfortable. The shower was hot with great pressure. The set up included everything you need to eat in. It was wonderful. Kim was so sweet to go get us propane for the BBQ when it ran out so we could make breakfast. We will definitely be staying again! "
