The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong

"Great New Hotel with Excellent Amenities, but Room Maintenance Needs Improvement Pros: Friendly Staff & Excellent Service: The staff was consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive. Fantastic Amenities & Views: The room view was great, and the facilities were top-notch—the seafood buffet, outdoor swimming pool, and gym were major highlights. Location: Located right inside the SeaWorld park area. Cons & Areas for Improvement: Nearby Conveniences: Being right inside the park means there are limited local businesses and no convenience stores nearby. Room Maintenance & Plumbing: We booked two rooms; while one was perfect, the second room had a severe drain odor caused by a clogged bath drain. On the first night, having the A/C on high masked the smell, but on the second day—after turning off the A/C because it was too cold—we returned in the evening to a terrible odor. Staff provided an air purifier, which helped a bit but was not enough to fix the underlying issue. Overall Rating / Summary: This is a promising new property with high-quality facilities and friendly staff, but room maintenance needs better quality control to ensure all rooms meet the same standard."

"During our three-week trip to Hong Kong, we stayed at The Arca in three different rooms. Overall, we had a very good experience. The rooms are very spacious by Hong Kong standards, and the bathrooms are also unusually large. Of the rooms we stayed in, I liked the high-floor sea-view room the most — the view made the stay feel especially relaxing. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and whenever an issue came up, they were eager to resolve it quickly. The main drawback for a longer stay is the lack of a communal or self-service laundry room. There is also no convenient self-service laundry nearby. Because the weather was very hot during our stay, we needed to wash clothes frequently, and we found it quite inconvenient to take our laundry all the way to Aberdeen. The hotel does provide free laundry service once a week for monthly stays, but our three-week stay did not qualify. The hotel’s regular laundry service is also quite expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the spacious rooms, large bathrooms, sea view and helpful staff. For shorter stays, I would happily recommend the hotel. For longer stays, I do wish they had a guest laundry facility."

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay! I want to give a special shoutout to Cindy at the front desk. She was incredibly professional and welcoming, taking the time to thoroughly explain the hotel layout and dining schedules. Seeing that we were traveling with a toddler, she proactively arranged for bed rails and children's toiletries to be sent to our room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The luggage department was also fantastic—storing our bags was incredibly fast, convenient, and efficient. But the absolute best part of this hotel is the pedestrian bridge that connects directly to Ocean Park. It made going back and forth to the park effortless, which is an absolute lifesaver when you need to bring a little one back for a midday nap. This hotel is incredibly family-friendly, especially for parents traveling with toddlers. Highly recommended!"
