The property itself was very nice (although does give a slight impression of an adult hotel!). However we had issues with not being able to contact the property to arrange a late check in (we tried and also had to get Expedia to try to contact them too) as we were told reception would only be manned until 7. Thankfully this wasn’t the case and a receptionist was there much later, but it did cause some unnecessary stress. Essentially the stay was good but communication dreadful.

Gorgeous boutique hotel, free coffee and pretzels in lobby, excellent location, and comfortable clean deluxe rooms! Minibar and modern style was a plus. Highly recommend!

133 Boutique Hotel is a convenient hotel in a very central location with many dining and shopping options. The rooms are sufficient spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and the AC is working fine. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is available. Parking is possible in two nearby garages. The hotel offers everything for a comfortable stay in central Karlsruhe.

Good option for a stay in downtown Karlsruhe. Walking distance to Dining and Shopping. Rooms are medium sized, beds are Queen. Rooms are clean, no separate Bathroom. Stayed at hotel before and will do it again even the hotel could use some renovations and upgrades.

Right in the center of town, nice, calme and clean. Design and beatiful room. But the bed for two is a little bit to small, and not enough space to put your stuff, hänger etc. Did not try the breakfast, went across the Street to a Coffee place. Still a good value and place to stay.

You get what you pay for. Very stylish design, very clean, and very centrally located for a good price. On the downside, there is very little space (even with two carry-on suitcases it gets difficult) and the furnishings are quite basic: no trash bin, no shelves in the shower or bathroom, and no proper heating (only hot air via the air conditioning).

This place and the service were all class. The boutique nature of the premises and the experience means that it was unforgettable for all the right reasons. The premises were high quality in all areas, and the staff were highly professional, courteous, and helpful.

We liked the location and the price. The hotel is very centrally located and is in easy walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. Public transportation is nearby. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean, beds are good but the rooms are a little bit on the small side. Noise from the street was not a problem. For parking you can use two nearby parking garages.

Property said breakfast was available which wasn't true. Ended up at McDonalds for breakfast. Dark, dirty lobby, seemed like something out of the 1980s. Rooms ok, but small with no coffee or hot water in room. Lobby open at odd hours. Entrance was lined with dirty plywood. Unprofessional. Thought I was in a back alley in going into hotel.

Reception staff was quite nice. There was a pick-n-mix station and water available. Coffee machine was only available from noon onwards (which one staff member cheekily told me was because they didn’t want to „compete“ with the breakfast offer). If you want to offer coffee, it should be available when most people drink coffee. Room was small but nice. You did hear the tram outside throughout the night and feel the vibration of it. A/C was available, as well as a fridge and safe. I would have liked a trash can in the room though. Checkout is at noon, but the cleaning staff knocked every day at 10am. There was no sign to ask for the room not to be cleaned / to signal you’d be sleeping in. I felt that wasn’t relaxing and not hospitable.
