Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort And Spa

"The hotel was fantastic, and overall, we had a very good experience. The only major downside was the hill you have to walk up to get to the market. It was extremely steep, almost like a 90-degree incline, which can be very difficult, especially for families and elderly guests. The hotel should consider providing some kind of transport facility, such as a tuk-tuk or another convenient option, to take guests to the market. If they provided this service, it would make the hotel experience almost perfect. Regarding the restaurant, I think there should be more variety in the food. We stayed for 11 nights, and towards the end of our stay, we were honestly getting fed up with having the same food repeatedly. Changing the menu at least once a week or offering more variety would make a big difference. One more thing to mention bar timings should be increased in the night. It was only till 11 and starts at 12 in noon Overall, though, it was a fantastic hotel and we really enjoyed our stay."

"The place was amazing - only hang up was the price for drinks. 1 Thai massage for an hour is 300b - 1 hard drink 280b. Never bought a drink. This place is perfectly placed. Rented a moped across the street. No issues - no hang ups. Recommend - Breakfast was good but $9 usd ouch"

"Beautiful breakfast, very pleased we took this option. Staff were lovely, great with kids. Buildings, rooms and property and facilities well maintained and clean. Food and cocktails were wonderful and well prepared. Kids enjoyed waterslide and meeting others at kids club. Resort close to town and beach. Only let down was the activities that were listed and advertised everyday were not well arranged perhaps because it was not peak season and when we turned up there was no one there even when we checked if we had to book these. A huge thanks to those staff who sprang to action to put together the Thai boxing for our boys when it had not been organised for them but it was advertised. Cheers! Would highly recommend this resort as an affordable and enjoyable family holiday."
