"I stayed in a twin room with private bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable and even came with built in wardrobe. The hosts are wonderful and made breakfast in the morning. It's a peaceful place with a 3rd floor terrace that has a beautiful view of the city. Felt very safe here and loved interacting with the host family."

"Stayed for 2 days and it was unmatched. Service was outstanding. The BNB itself was outstanding. Free breakfast served fresh. I will be back next time I am in Kathmandu. Absolutely lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend you stay here. A little tough to find but it is down that dead end Street. Paid 600nr for a taxi from the airport. Not more than that."

"We had a lovely stay at Avalon house and the staff just did everything right. We got a homecooked meal both days and had a late flight the following day but we were still allowed to have our bags stored there and use their wifi while we were waiting. Very much appreciated!"

"The Everest Hotel staff made me feel incredibly welcome and cared for throughout my stay.. Everyone is super helpful and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are great and it was particularly lovely to you have a comfortable bed and a hot shower after trekking. I also loved the gym, pool and restaurant and the food was wonderful. There are many choices for different nationality foods on the menu. I loved everything I tried There is also a spa so I booked a massage on my last day. I hope to return to this hotel next year!"

"Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT stay. The staff were overwhelmingly hospitable and professional. The location is great in terms of accessibility and privacy. The street is always peaceful, which makes for a seamless sleep despite being in the thick of Thamel. When I return, there is no question I will stay again at Swarga Heritage Hotel! Thanks for making my four night stay so special."
