Visiting Haworth had always been on my bucket list, and I was lucky enough to get a last minute break here as it was newly available. From my initial enquiry to booking Catherine, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, offering plenty of information to make our stay seemless and stress-free.
Upon arrival, the cottage has the wow factor, really spacious and modern yet homely. Spotlessly clean throughout. Every detail is thought of, providing everything you need for a wonderful self catering break and the locally sourced welcome tray is a lovely touch. The bath is luxurious, perfect for a soak after a long walk across the moors!
The cottage itself is a short stroll to main street, very central for access to everything in Haworth so you can leave the car, but very quiet at the same time.
A local contact is provided so if you need anything at all during your stay, you have only to ask. The owner and manager are very attentive in that respect and clearly want to ensure your stay is perfect.
The parsonage museum is a must see, the ticket also lasts 12 months if you visit again. The walk to see Bronte Falls and Top Withens is wonderfully scenic, for the less seasoned walker there is a shorter route from near Oxenhope with a free car park. Catkins café offers tasty toasted sandwiches and tea in lovely cups and saucers for afterwards! The Black Bull is worth visiting for a drink if you are interested in the Bronte history and superstitions, seeing Branwell's chair on the stairs.
Overall an amazing stay, we could have stayed longer and done even more, so hopefully will be back very soon!
