Relax in the Heart of Bronte Country

Come Home Cottage is ideal for couples and is situated in a great central location, just two minutes away from Haworth’s historic Main Street. You could not be closer to the centre of the lovely village of Haworth, which is an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area, including Skipton and Hebden Bridge. The cottage is in Haworth conservation area and parking is conveniently at the door with our permit. The house is in a historic street of traditional weaver’s cottages with exposed beams and a flagstone floor in the living room. There are two comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings by the fire. We are happy to provide a starter pack of logs for you upon arrival. The bathroom has a monsoon-style shower and a bath for those who prefer to relax with a glass of wine. The house is a stone’s throw from the Bronte Parsonage where Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights were written, and the moor beyond offers lovely walks with breath-taking countryside views. Haworth has a number of traditional pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of the cottage. The Worth Valley Steam Railway offers nostalgic rides to neighbouring villages at certain times of the year.

Cottage was well presented, clean and confortable

We had a great time, chilled, got off the spinning wheel of everyday life. Did a lot of walking, enjoyed the Bronte museum and the original painting!.

wonderful short break

Visiting Haworth had always been on my bucket list, and I was lucky enough to get a last minute break here as it was newly available. From my initial enquiry to booking Catherine, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, offering plenty of information to make our stay seemless and stress-free. Upon arrival, the cottage has the wow factor, really spacious and modern yet homely. Spotlessly clean throughout. Every detail is thought of, providing everything you need for a wonderful self catering break and the locally sourced welcome tray is a lovely touch. The bath is luxurious, perfect for a soak after a long walk across the moors! The cottage itself is a short stroll to main street, very central for access to everything in Haworth so you can leave the car, but very quiet at the same time. A local contact is provided so if you need anything at all during your stay, you have only to ask. The owner and manager are very attentive in that respect and clearly want to ensure your stay is perfect. The parsonage museum is a must see, the ticket also lasts 12 months if you visit again. The walk to see Bronte Falls and Top Withens is wonderfully scenic, for the less seasoned walker there is a shorter route from near Oxenhope with a free car park. Catkins café offers tasty toasted sandwiches and tea in lovely cups and saucers for afterwards! The Black Bull is worth visiting for a drink if you are interested in the Bronte history and superstitions, seeing Branwell's chair on the stairs. Overall an amazing stay, we could have stayed longer and done even more, so hopefully will be back very soon!

Lovely Relaxing Weekend

My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Come Home Cottage. The cottage has everything you could need and is of an exceptional standard. The location is perfect, situated right at the top of Main Street which has an abundance of pubs, shops and eateries and the Bronte Parsonage is right behind the house. We were able to park outside the house on arrival and we didn't need to use the car all weekend. We had excellent communication from the owner from the point of booking and from the managment company on arrival. Haworth is a beautiful village, there are plenty of walks, a lovely park and a Steam Railway also on the doorstep. Unfortunately our trip got cut short due to an emergency at home so we missed out on a night and a day so we will definitely return in the future to

September Stay

The cottage had a lovely, homely feel to it and was very spacious, yet cosy. The cottage was very clean and on our arrival we received some welcome goodies including Prosecco and biscuits, which were a lovely touch. The cottage is in a great location to explore Haworth and the surrounding area.

It was our second visit, we were here for the Easter Weekend.

Once again a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is fab with everything you need. It's at the top of the hill so everything is in walking distance. Bottle of bubbly & glasses were waiting for us in the sitting room & a box of goodies in the kitchen. If you are thinking of going to Howarth this is the place to stay.

Large living room with log burner good selection of books and DVDs also a radio which I found very useful. The kitchen is large as well with a full size fridge freezer large dining table & seating area. Very smart bathroom with bath & walk in shower. Comfortable cottage in a beautiful location

Lovely cottage over 4 floors. Very comfortable and welcoming. The area is beautiful, many fabulous walks and places to visit. Haworth has many coffee shops, pubs and little individual shops. The cafes and pubs cater well for vegetarians and vegans. The only thing we missed at the cottage was a garden to use in the morning and evening.

Relaxing cosy break in Haworth

Come Home cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. It has everything you need for a really lovely stay in Haworth. Laid out over four floors the cottage has been beautifully but sympathetically modernised and is tastefully furnished and very clean. The cottage is located close to the top of the main street in this old fashioned quirky village. This is a perfect location with only a two minute walk to many pubs, restaurants and shops. We particularly enjoyed eating and drinking at The Haworth Steam Brewing Company, really good food and ales brewed by the owners along with their own gins! We also ate at The Fleece which was equally good especially for Sunday lunch. The village is lucky enough to have a large number of independent shops in addition to access to the Worth Steam railway. Steam trains run regularly at weekends and are a joy to behold! Would thoroughly recommend visiting the station and taking a ride on the trains time permitting. The Bronte Parsonage Museum also gives a very interesting insight into the lives of The Bronte family and is highly recommended. All the above plus some lovely walks right on the doorstep make Haworth a perfect location for a short break. We enjoyed eating out then returning to the cottage to snuggle up by the log burner.

Very calm and relaxing Christmas!

We rented the Come Home cottage from December 23rd to the 30th, 2017. As soon as we arrived, we were charmed by the village and the cottage. Everything was perfect! A very warm thank you to Catherine and Michelle who were available to us when we needed it. We can't wait to go back. Dominique and Marcel Montréal, CANADA

Homely Haworth

Come Home cottage really lives up to its name. We had a relaxing 3 night stay whilst visiting the area for a wedding. On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a few snacks which were a real treat, plus milk and juice in the fridge. We found the place clean, cosy and enjoyed using the fire over the chilly weekend. Loved the layout over 3 floors (plus the snug in the attic). Wish we could have stayed longer, would love to come back another time! On Main Street, Steam Brewing Co is great for local gins / pints and does great food. The Fleece Inn does lovely pub food and Sunday lunches. The Hawthorn restaurant and bar had just opened and we managed to sneak a couple of drinks in on the Sunday evening. Very promising menu, would love to return! Come Home cottage also has a very well equipped kitchen if you're looking to cook in. We enjoyed our breakfasts in here. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Clean, relaxing, well equipped

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Haworth. Clean, modern but with old world charm. A generous welcome pack on arrival, milk, biscuits, packet of snacks, bottle of wine. Parking outside. Within a short walk away to plenty of eateries be it coffee style shops to pubs/restaurants. Bronte museum on the doorstep too. Don’t want to drive? Bus stops close by. We got the bus to Keighley so we could get the train to Leeds. Just an amazing place to stay and you can do as much or as little as you want.

Delightful cottage

My wife and I enjoyed a four day break at Come Home Cottage in early July, 2017. This lovely, well appointed cottage sits in the heart of Haworth, a very short walk to the Bronte Parsonage Museum and to all local amenities. The surrounding countryside is wonderful. We will certainly return in the future.

Fabulous cottage

We cant find enough praise for Come Home Cottage except to say that for value for money it has to be the best place in Haworth, or any where else for that matter. All rooms very spacious, parking permit, in a central location, and a lovely welcome pack. We always have great holiday there and have already booked it again. Jim & Eileen
