"The Horwood is in a lovely place ' with good air to breath' but bedroom has no Air conditioning and only provided fan. The only place with air conditioning is the Bar and the drinks are very expensive. It good for winter holidays but not summer for me and wife. If all room has air-conditioning ': then excellent"

"The room was small but perfectly functional, with a decent bathroom and air con to keep me cool. However the mattress so was hard and pillows so flat I woke up after only 2hrs sleep. A real shame as with a more comfortable mattress and better pillows I would have easily rated 5 stars given the value for money. I was also puzzled as to why the TV was mounted about 4 feet up the wall, which made it essentially unwatchable."

"A great place to stay. Good, freshly cooked breakfast with items made to order too. Separate GF station. Good quality tea etc. Staff were so helpful on a number of matters. Pool was good but always quite busy. All very clean and modern with lots of seating areas. Bedrooms can get a bit hot in a heatwave as windows only open 4” (standard health and safety I think) but we were given a fan. Also air con downstairs. Great for charging elec cars. We would recommend"
