10/10 Excellent

"It’s a family owned and and both husband and wife were super helpful. They went above and beyond to help with our suitcase and rides. We are family of 4 and highly recommend the stay. The salmon bake next door is awesome for dinner. Only drawback was uber didn’t work and cabs have to scheduled early enough if you are not driving"

"Micah greeted us when we checked in and made some great suggestions. We did the short hike to Exit Glacier and dined outside at Resurrection Restaurant. The hike was only a short drive from Wind Song and the views were beautiful. We shared a pizza for dinner and each got a salad, both of which were delicious. Our room in Rosemary had everything we needed. I want to return and stay multiple nights instead of just one night."

"Hotel itself was just ‘okay’. Issue was with the ‘free’ transportation. I was initially told it was free, then it was $3 if you had luggage, then it was $6 if you had luggage. At the port, there was no where to ‘line up’ for the shuttle and another family jumped in front of us after we were waiting for over 30 minutes. I told the shuttle driver before he let them load that we were there first and he didn’t seem to care. Then the hotel had the nerve to charge us for the shuttle that we didn’t even end up using! Doors in the hotel were loud and ppl were slamming them all night. Walls were thin and could hear people talking outside on the street. Wouldn’t stay here again."

"All Staff was super responsive and very sweet to work with. (Breakfast staff, front desk, maintenance etc) We left an item in the room and they called us but we were 2-3hrs away. They worked with us to get the item shipped back to our home. So very thankful for their honesty and willingness to take the time to ship it to us. The room had 3 beds and was very large and roomy. We had no AC (it was an unusually warm day) but window opened. Only complaint was bathroom was soooooooo small and VERY dark and out of date. - other than that all else was completely fine. Beds comfortable. Please update bathroom and curtains. We only stayed one night."

"The property was in good shape for its age. Felt like a throwback to the 70’s in a good way and was well maintained and very clean and spacious. The view from the room was awesome allowing us to see sea otters, bald eagles and various sea birds. We only ate one meal at the hotel during our stay which was breakfast. It was a buffet and had great choices. We never made it to the workout room or hot tub as we were too tired from our excursions. It was suggested you make a reservation for use of both of these amenities as there is limited space. Great location at the very end of the Homer spit with lots of history you could read about on the walls of the hallways. Plenty of towels and good water pressure. Great mattress in a king suite. Would stay at Landsend again if I make it back to AK"
