Situated on the outskirts of town, these properties are ideal for someone who wants to be near bars and restaurants, while still being located in a quiet residential area. These houses provide 6 people with spacious accommodation and have the added benefit of private parking and patio areas with out door seating.
The Ardmullen properties are generously proportioned two-storey homes which boast 3 spacious bedrooms (1 master en-suite, 1 double, 1 twin), comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests. Further accommodation includes a lounge with open fireplace and a large fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining area. All rooms are beautifully and stylishly decorated and are cheerfully bright, with lots of natural light and high quality furnishings. Naturally, bed linen and hotel quality towels are provided for your use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm, and the open fire can be used to create an even more comfortable atmosphere. There is satellite television in the lounge.
Please note that for the benefit of all guests, these are non-smoking houses. Outside, the homes avails of safe off-street parking and at the rear there is a patio area with garden furniture. Children in your party will be delighted with the large communal green area well away from the public road, which is perfect for kicking around a ball or enjoying a game of badminton after a day’s touring. Both homes have beautiful views of the surrounding mountainous scenery.

A family of 5 adults - Ardmullen provided easy access to the Kerry, Dingle and Beara peninsulas. The accommodation is very spacious and clean. Furnishings are basic and mattresses are comfortable. Dishes, knives, pots, pans, etc. are minimal and chipped or dented while linens are worn thin. It looked like the place is run on a shoestring. However, if you are not looking for luxury, we would recommend this place on the strength of its location and value proposition.

Good holiday home location
Firstly, our stay got changed to no.13 as no. 19 was made up as 2 twin rooms and 1 double. We had requested 2 doubles and 1 twin. All this got resolved very quickly upon arrival which was great.
In relation to house no. 13, the house itself was very comfortable however the quality of the front room couches were appalling. The armchair was very heavily stained also. There needs to be replacement couches/armchair in this house. They really are awful . one of our kids lost her crayons under one of the couches so we had to move it to get them. The floor was absolutely filthy underneath them so clearly this area has not be cleaned in some time.
The other piece of feedback is in relation to the extra meter charges for heating etc. This is so old fashioned and totally unnecessary. It makes more sense to charge a little more for the house rental that is inclusive of these charges. I felt like we were back in the 90s. asking guests to do this is really not a good experience and the amount of paperwork here is high. As I have suggested, the rental price should include this so charge appropriately to include this. We have stayed at a number of holiday homes over the years and this is the first time in a long time that we have come across this. I suggest that this is addressed for future renters!
Overall the house was good with the exception of the front room furniture. I would be interested to know if there is any differences between no 19 and no 13?
We would rent the house again and hope that the meter charging processed is removed

A spacious comfortable house within walking distance of Kenmare town
This is a spacious clean and comfortable house within approx 15 min walk from Kenmare town. It is very well equipped and has oil heating and an open fireplace. I would have no hesitation in returning. The owner is very helpful and provides lots of information re the locality.

We had a fabulous stay. House was spotless and loads of space. So close to town, could not fault it. The only issue was the wifi was terrible which was a problem with the kids.

Great!
Our third year coming to Kenmare - group of 5 families in 5 houses and hopefully we will continue to do so.
The houses are very well located approx 10/15 minute walk to the town and in a small and quiet development.
Clean, very spacious and very well equipped, the houses are extremely comfortable.
I highly recommend.

Nice location, but the house urgently requires renovation and new quality furniture
House Nr. 19 is really big and spacious, the location "Ardmullen" is nice and quiet. The kitchen equipment was okay and worked mostly. Unfortunately there are a number of things that we really did not appreciate. From the fridge came out an unpleasant smell and the freezer was partially moldy. The oven was terribly dirty, we were not able to clean it. The plates and glasses were not really clean, but that was not a big thing. The blind in the kitchen did not work and was also dirty. Some of the furniture in the house is old and used, the couch is the most uncomfortable we have ever had. At the first sight it seemed to be leather, but is was only a low-cost artificial leather. When we sat on the couch we sank down so that we nearly arrived on the floor. The wooden table near the couch is old and full of scratches.
The beds are also not a high quality furniture, we felt like on a sofa bed. When we walked around in the bedrooms and bathrooms the footsteps sounded throughout the house, the floor is noisy. In the bathroom we found a crack in the window, rusty soap holders, and a broken plastic button of the toilet flush. The showers are like Irish Mist - just a little bit of water came out of it.
The price for the house in this condition is definitely too expensive. At the end of our stay we were asked why we did not phone the owner at the beginning. But to be honest - We did not complain about all the things because we did not want to waste precious holiday time. Most of the time we spent outside and the renovation of this house is not a thing to do in one or two days. Considering the number of defects we were disappointed that we did not get any refund. We had paid all the money before we arrived in the house Nr. 19. Irish people are known for their hospitality - but unfortunately not in this location.

Great holiday house!
Lovely house set in a quiet location, and only a short walk into the town. The house was comfortable, with a lovely little patio, and most of the essentials were provided. Could have had a few more cooking utensils, but what was provided was adequate. The owner was quick to respond to a problem we had, and provided us with plenty of information about the house and area. A great find!

Nice house, nice furniture in living, dining and bed rooms. Very short distance to Kenmare city centre with a lot of shops, pubs, market (2 time a week) etc.
BUT:
Proviced equipment in the kitchen for cooking is very poor. Old pans, only 2 cooking pots etc.
Water pressure in the bathrooms (washbasin and shower) is very low !!!

Feel like at home
We have staid for a week and felt at home after half a day in the house. It was well equipped (not for great cooker, but ok for Pasta), very comfortable living room and nice kitchen to sit for the meals.
City Center is quite Close, in Walking distance, same as a number of Pubs and cafes.
We would come back.

Good place to explore the region, kitchen equipment could be improved.
Ardmullen is situated on N70 and an ideal location to explore the Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara, Killarney NP and Skellig Michael. The rooms are spacious and clean and well equipped. An exemption was the kitchen in our appartment: the equipment was a little bit poor, the pans and the sharp knifes in a very poor condition, not enough pots and some other small things missing (e.g. raw vegetables and meat have to be cut on plates), the handles of the cupboards dirty, the toaster partly defect and also some of the lights.
But overall we were really satisfied and would choose this property again. Friendly management.

3 Bedroom House beside KenMare BayHotel
House was perfect for the 5 of us staying with 4 single beds in 2 of the rooms. The Kitchen was large and well kitted out. The house was a <10 min walk from the centre of Kenmare Town. Although we were only there for 2 nghts with a group of Friends the house provided an relaxing experience for the period that we stayed there.

Great location and ideal for a family visiting Kerry
The house was modern, spacious, clean, well kitted out (TV,Wi-Fi,Iron,etc) and comfortable. It was in a great location beside the town of Kenmare. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent séjour.
Maison spacieuse, récente et très propre. 3 belles chambres, 2 salles de bains, un grand salon avec du parquet et une grande cuisine bien équipée. Lits faits à l'arrivee et serviettes de toilette... Bien située sur une esplanade herbeuse calme, un peu en dehors de la ville. Supermarché à quelques minutes en voiture, et jolie ville de Kenmare avec ses pubs et restaurants. La situation est idéale pour visiter le Ring of Kerry. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour tous ensemble, bien plus convivial qu'à l'hotel.

Very enjoyable stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the house to be very clean and comfortable.
We would especially like to mention how helpful Mr. Foley was when we found we had left something behind after our stay. We were very grateful for his help in the matter.
Our only complaint is some of the china had various chips in them which would be nice to see replaced.
