Wonderful stay at Pinecroft
We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!

Fantastic Property
Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. There is seating outside on the patio which is also accessible and a shallow slope from the drive to the property. The surrounding area is stunning and we didn’t need to travel too far to find places to visit. Keswick Pencil Museum, Theatre by the Lake, Derwent Water and the railway walk were very close and well worth a visit. The owner was easily contactable and flexible with our checking out time which was really helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Cottage in Keswick, Lake District
On arrival we were greeted by the owner who gave us some helpful information about the cottage and surrounding area. We stayed here for 6 nights whilst on a hiking trip. The directions to the cottage were spot on and the cottage itself was clean with good facilities especially for walkers/cyclists as there was an outside area for bikes and muddy shoes, clothing. The cottage had a washer/dryer, wifi, sky, good basic equipment in the kitchen and the bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower and bath tub too. Keswick is just a 20 minute walk/5minute drive and the views surrounding the cottage were stunning. This was a great area central to everywhere we visited and there were good facilities in the town including supermarket, nice pubs/cafes and shops. We would definitely stay again.

Great location
Clean, quiet location in Keswick. Nicely furnished. Easy access to walking in the Lake District and a 20-25 minute walk from town center, which is a great option when the roads are choked with traffic.

A very cosy, relaxed and well equipped house. Everything you need for a pleasant basevfrom which to explore Keswick. The host was helpful . The house has lots of character and we particularly enjoyed the original art work.

Winter break in the Lakes!
A wonderful cozy, clean and very well equipped bungalow! Took in-laws with mobility problems and the access and walk in shower was great. Roger was quick and easy to communicate with and met us to explain everything for check in. Had a fantastic few days in the Lakes.....just breathtaking as always!!

Couldn’t have been better. The property had everything you could need. We loved the well stocked board game cupboard and sky tv! It was really clean & cozy. The garden space looked lovely - unfortunately we arrived in December so couldn’t enjoy it but I imagine in summer it would be perfect. Good views from the property. It’s about 15 minute walk into Keswick, but a few minutes drive. We will definitely book again!

Glorious Lakeland retreat
Absolutely gorgeous bungalow, perfectly situated for strolling into Keswick and with glorious views out of (almost) every window. Perfect for people with access needs and extremely comfortable. Roger the owner is friendliness and charm itself snd makes you feel very welcome.

Wonderful stay in Keswick
We had a great stay in Keswick at this property. The house is a short walk from the centre of the town and also near an entry point into the Keswick to Threlkeld cycle path which is a great walk along the river and away from from the traffic. The property was just what we needed. Well equipped, spacious and with a good outside space which was used as we had some good weather. The front of the house is near a main road, but sitting in the lounge at the back you couldn’t hear any road noise. The drive way at the back of the house has plenty of space (could probably fit 4 standard sized cars) so parking for the 2 cars we had was ample. Lovely property, would certainly look to rebook here if/when we head back to The Lakes. Communication with the owner when needed was first rate.

Yes as described in the property details the ensuite with shower is small and though I say so myself, quite cleverly designed to get WC, basin and shower in the space available. Could've left out the shower but opted to include a second shower option.

A lovely home
We felt at home from the moment we set foot in Pinecroft. During our extended stay, we looked forward to returning to its comforts after our hikes and tours of the day. The walk into central Keswick is quite enjoyable via the footpath that was once a railway line. We found this to be an excellent location from which to explore the wider area and there is much to do and see in the immediate vicinity. The drives to Honister Mine, Wordsworth’s Dove Cottage, Beatrix Potter’s Hilltop home, Windermere, etc., were beautiful and relatively easy to navigate. Although the home is situated near the main road into town, it is such a lovely house and garden, we didn’t take much notice of the traffic. The master bedroom is very quiet.

We stayed at this property due to doing a hike for Macmillan and found the location to be ideal. Whilst we were walking my Mam was looking after our little boy and our puppy. She mentioned that the railway walk was perfect and they had a park near by which was ideal. Bus routes to Keswick were also situated at the bottom of the road (5 mins to Keswick centre) or a 20 min max walk. We loved the fact we could bring along our dog too! This was an added bonus! The garden was lovely - I even found a beautiful little spot to do some yoga outside on the morning we left. The Bungalow was beautiful and clean! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. A definite 10/10 for us. Roger (Host) mentioned he was upgrading the garden a little more but as it was only a few days stay we really didn’t see it as an issue. Only thing we would say which isn’t even bad - is that My Mam mentioned Roger came around on the Saturday night to feed the fish and do some gardening! But again, this isn’t a criticism it was just an observation. Vicki

Well appointed rental property
My two sons and I had a very enjoyable stay at Pinecroft. It is very well appointed and equipped rental property in a nice neighbourhood within easy reach of Keswick town centre with it's many restaurants and pubs. Plenty to see and do in the area. Hopefully, we will return soon.

Good place for gathering
The bungalow was well equipped, very clean and larger than expected with ample space for family to gather together. Located in a lovely neighbourhood, it was a good 15-20 minute walk into Keswick centre along a good paved pathway. Communications with the host involved a bit more work and the outdoor space wasn’t really prepared for entertaining yet, but walking straight from the door to the circular track up Latrigg was wonderful.

Pinecroft was perfect for our time in Keswick, for exploring the lakes and fells around Derwent Water and the Buttermere Valley. A quiet location within a 15-20 minute walk of the town centre, Pinecroft was clean, spacious and well equipped, and it has great views across the fells north and west of Keswick.

We stayed here as a family ranging from 10yrs to 78 yrs. The process before arriving was easy with the owner always available and answering questions. The checking in process was easy as we met the owner on the day who was incredibly friendly. The accomodation inside was immaculate and very spacious. Can not fault this cottage one bit. The outside needed a bit of attention but this was explained by the owner that he was in the process of updating things bit this didnt affect our stay one bit. We would 100% stay here again.

Love Keswick!
The property was amazing for comfort, location, amenities. A pleasant walk on the rail-trail gets you into town. The launch service around the lake is one of the best things to do. We would book Pinecroft again in a heartbeat.

I would definitely stay again ,only thi g it's says on the Web site sleeps six but only sleeps five, as two doubles and a single, this did not bother us at all as there was three adults and one teenage daughter with attitude as we all know they are at 15 years ,had a great time there ,and the garden is fantastic, view's out of this world of the mountain's, hope to stay again ASAP ,

Lovely Cottage - do not miss this one!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Croft cottage. The cottage is lovely and beautifully furnished and decorated. Roger is a warm and welcoming host- and we enjoyed meeting him and his sweet dog, Jackson. We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor spaces at the cottage. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time in the Lake District. The location is very convenient to all local attractions. We enjoyed visiting Keswick village as well. We highly recommend Pine Croft.

Lovely stay at Pinecrofts
We just returned from a lovely stay in the Lakes. Even with a little rain the Lakes are always beautiful and having a lovely place like Pinecrofts to return to made out stay even better. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us (3 adults and 2 kids) and although we didn't meet Roger, he was a great host, always attentive to any messages and quick to answer. If we are up that way again we would stay here.

Everything you needed without a car
Lovely bungalow in a lovely neighbourhood. Was great for my elderly mother with some mobility issues. Public transport was important to us as we didn’t have a car but the bus to Keswick was conveniently located at the end of the street. Also, the 555 bus which goes to Windermere, Grasmere etc. was around the corner. We also took the bus to Penrith train station from the end of the street. Could walk to the Spar grocery store, 5 mins. away. There is also a taxi stand in town at the bus station. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided by Roger who was quick to respond to any issues. Would stay again.

Our second time at the lakes in Keswick. Our accommodation was amazing, had all the amenities and facilities we requested. Very clean and cosy bungalow that suited us. The location was perfect as it was easy to find and only 15 min walk to Keswick. Also easy access to the motorway in order for us to travel and explore Windermere anddressingtable Ambleside. Only criticism, it could do with a flood light in the garden near the rear garden as near the ramp it's pretty dark and a couple of occasions I nearly tripped while sober. And the last suggestion is to fence off the rear garden towards the drive as pets can run off to the road.. Thumbs-up to Roger for all he's help and hospitality. Highly recommend Pine croft.
