Beautiful location by the ocean. It is older place, but well kept, and quite and friendly.

This hotel is a definitely older, but pretty well maintained. The beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. The room was wasn’t the cleanest, but overall was a good stay.

This spot has kept the same private family beach atmosphere as the original Stone Ledge Motel. Having spent 47 years returning to the Keys, all I'd ask of the Drift would be for a more friendly staff, make some essential repairs, and upgrade some of the accomodations. Regardless, we will be happy to return.

Tight space. No dresser. Bed was two soft, had a dip in the middle. Needs to be replaced. Was very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Dock area was nice

Very friendly staff. They gave us a list of nearby restaurants, beach towels, parking pass etc. Clean and cozy room. Def recommend the suite by the beach. Beautiful view, full fridge/kitchen, plenty of room & more. Beach has a bbq, lounge chairs, pier & gorgeous view. I saw a review prior stating shower has no curtain- it is not supposed to. We loved the shower! Also saw a complaint about paying for ice. U can go to dollar tree and buy cube trays as we did- problem solved. Many stores & restaurants close by. Some insects & baby lizard in our room we expected. It's FL & by the beach..enjoy nature! Def recommend & would return!!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wish the refrigerator worked in our room because we had to keep paying to get ice to keep our drinks cold, as well as throw out the food we had bought for the days we wanted to stay on the property. I liked being able to walk to the outdoor area near the water from our room. The room was smaller but worked fine for a few days!

This place is wonderful, small and intimate. Small little beach area with steps that right into the Gulf. Water is crystal clear and the sunsets are amazing.

A lovely place to stay. The office staff are wonderful. There were a few things I would have liked such as a tissue box in the room and a better solution to hang clothes versus a metal bar sticking out of the wall next to the bed. The beach chairs were quite hard as they were made of wood slats and a little uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect and I definitely would come back again.

This is a well maintained boutique style hotel. Its location was close to town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The beach access was wonderful and even spotted a passing manatee. Staff was exceptional and friendly. Will visit again.

The beach and water were absolutely amazing... breathtakingly gorgeous! The Drift Hotel has an incredible set up on their beach and a glorious dock. I truly cannot think of anything better and would go back to experience that piece of the property. The staff were incredibly friendly and our room was clean. The bathroom, shower, and room were very small and the shower and sink lacked hot water.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was upset when I arrived at property and found it VERY different than pictures on Expedia. I have no idea how this property had a 9.2 rating. Pros: Beautiful view Friendly staff Cons: Bed VERY uncomfortable. Literal dips in mattress. Toilets barely flush. Old and outdated No ventilation in bathroom. Room smelled like mildew entire time. Seemed like housekeeping tried to cover with spray but very prominent. TV wires hanging out of wall. 1/2 ply toilet paper Doors use actual keys but seem very insecure…..door locks wiggled.

It's fine&good. And good&fine.
We stayed for 1-night on our road trip from MIA to Key West... it was good & fine. I'll start with the good - it is a convenient location and there is a beautiful view off the beach with easy access to kayaks and paddle boards. The beach was well groomed. Now for the fine part - our room was near the road so it was noisy. The room had a damp smell and the toilet didn't flush properly. There is a charge for ice. Lastly, that well groomed beach with a beautiful view was not very peaceful - the maintenance crew left a vehicle idling for 40min so it was loud as we tried to enjoy our morning coffee.
