I guess I may be a little bougie, but now I understand why the price was so good to be true! I felt very unsafe as the door was all cracked and just held up with a piece of plank wood. The bathroom was falling apart, so luckily I didn’t have to, stay at that place long enough to take a shower!

I would like to just make my "opinion comments" on a few things. Your check-in girl was amazing. Your breakfast person needs to lighten up. I don't see the problem but here is the scenario: I wanted a bottle of cold water at breakfast. I don't do the coffee or juice. She wouldn't substitute a bottle of cold water from the fridge. There was water and an ice cooler. Sorry - but I'm not taking ice from that cooler. - It is not secure in any way. You had a sign above it, but that was a grain of salt in my eyes.It was not tamper proof. So then she brought out a small bottle of warm water. I was really thirsty for cold water, so I declined that too. Really - think about it - is 1 bottle of cold water more expensive than coffee or juice. I kind of think not, but that is my opinion. Your facilities - for the age of the property - are nostalgic and ok. I didn't mind staying there. However - You need to replace your washcloths. The one I used, was threadbare and totally used up. I wish I had just thrown it in the trash myself.

The hotel is very old, and is in bad condition, the photos you see online are a “fake”(the fotos are made 20 years ago), at present the hotel is very deteriorated and in urgent need of renovation.

What an eye opener! We never thought places like this existed. You could see through the door to the room on every side when it was closed. The door itself was more plaster than wood. There were holes patched on the walls in several places. The window in the bathroom didn't seal and there was mold under the window. The bathtub had at least 2 tubes of cracked caulking around it. The carpet was at least 30 years old and stained. The booking was non refundable so we were stuck there. Had the price been $59 a night I would not have cared but we paid almost $300 CAD for one night there. And the pool hadnt been cleaned in ages by the look of it. Do not recommend!

I just needed a place to sleep a few hours, so it served that purpose. But the facility seemed to have not been updated since the 60s, the ac would freeze you 1 minute n sweat you the next, constant noise from the highway, and i was very apprehensive about the parking area. Was legitimately afraid something would happen to the tools n kayaks in my truck. If i hadnt already paid, would've probably went elsewhere. However the only staff i dealt with was very nice n helpful.
