The shower control in the second bathroom needs corrected. Low level of hot water. The dryer takes a long time to dry. But it works. Very comfortable bed and good heating and AC. Pool hot tub and grounds are very nice and well maintained.

You are not renting this unit for the view. Our only ask from the owner would be to replace the sheets - they are old and worn. Candidly, we now just bring our own.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were somewhat disappointed with our stay at 1800 Atlantic, although not with the condo itself. We came a couple of weeks after Hurricane Ian had pasted Key West. I had asked was there any damage to the property and was told no everything was fine. When we arrived we were very disappointed that the entire beach at 1800 Atlantic had been destroyed. The entire month nothing was done to clean it up and several of the permanent residents told us that they were supposed to being deciding whether to leave it like it was. The private beach had been one of the things that attracted us to this property. The condo itself was exactly as described except for the view. Our view was a that of building supplies, old railings from decks and a bunch of junk from the maintenance shed that had been flooded. It was finally straightened up but not removed. We also had an issue with the air conditioning but it was repaired a few hours after we reported it. We had to purchase spray in order to sit on the balcony because of the no seeums but we did enjoy sitting out there. Our stay was great because we love Key West. We hope the beach is repaired because it is such a waste not to be able to enjoy it.

A wonderful month away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented 2br unit at 1800 (West) for the month of December. Unit nicely furnished and is really convenient to entrance and parking; pool is a slightly long walk thru hall or garden. Only downfalls are now view (overlooks preserve - which we knew)and you get a lot of noise from the opening and closing of the garage gate (directly below unit. We are food people - so kitchen could use better pots and pans (really old). Owner clearly does not drink - no wine or martini glasses.
