If you want to experience Old Key West this is the place to stay. Clean room, good communication from management, food and fun just down the street in any direction! The best part is that we drove and it has its own dedicated parking spot for our unit which was SO important because parking is hard to find in this section of town.
It was loud in the morning and middle of the night. No one can help that…the lawn people use the leaf blower at 7am and then the street sweeping truck comes through at 7:30…you won’t sleep in. Then loud yelling and partying happens all night….sort of what you should expect when you stay on this side of town near the action.
It has a cute pool and garden sitting area and a couple of nice deck areas to hang out in. We also brought our dog as they are dog friendly!
The location was excellent and we were grateful for an easy parking spot. Unfortunately, our first room had bugs in the bed. We called the property manager and thankfully the room was open next door to us, and we were able to move. The next room had ants in the bathroom, but we didn't call because we were only staying for two nights and were just happy we didn't need to find a new rental. They were quick to respond and refunded us the cleaning fee and pet deposit. Because it is an old building, the air conditioner is very loud and the walls are thin, so we didn't sleep well. I would only recommend staying here if you're a heavy sleeper and don't mind an older building.

First Visit to Key West
The location in Old Town was ideal. The unit we stayed in was in an aged building (as many are in that part of town) and could use some serious updating, especially given the high price. By way of example, just entering the property was something of a challenge, with a key pad on a heavy, solid and sticky tall wooden gate that a person literally had to throw a shoulder into in order to open. The "pool" is kind of a joke, as it is basically the size of a medium sized spa and there was absolutely no way anyone could swim in it. It was not heated. We didn't see anyone use it. We had some issues with representations that were made to us about amenities that did not exist in the unit we had. To their credit, the property manager responded quickly when we complained and did what they could by way of financial consideration to rectify the situation. Our room and bath were nice enough for what they were (plenty of towels!), but scouting the area, we realized rather quickly we could have stayed in nicer "historic" accommodations (B & B's) with better amenities for the same money. We've used Vrbo a number of times and in the past were pleased. This is the first time we really had reason to question what we were getting for our money. Prior Vrbo stays were with direct owners and not a mgmt co. with other properties in they area. Aside from all that, we definitely enjoyed Key West. The property manager provided some excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities.

The room was clean and is close to everything. We would definitely stay here again
We had a wonderful visit. The staff was excellent at troubleshooting problems like missing TV remotes and David at Brightwild was outstanding, going the extra mile for us.

The property is very close to many Key West attractions. It was 2 blocks from Sloppy Joes and Duval Street. I enjoyed the private 2nd floor porch for my morning coffee.
Nothing fancy. We’ve stayed in two rooms here so far and like it. Good location. The pool is a glorified bathtub but it does the trick to cool down after a hot day of drinking!
Can't say enough about how conveniently located this room is! Loved the large shared balcony to relax and enjoy coffee and cocktails on.
The room was large, comfortable, and clean.
It was fantastic to have a designated parking space! I am a frequent visitor to KW and I am all too familiar with how difficult it is to get a space. It was awesome to not have to worry about it this trip.
Property managers were quick to respond to any questions.

Great location but the property is worn and full of unhappy surprises. While there is a parking spot, nobody watches it. So 3 times in 2 days someone else was parked in our spot. There is no management on site, and no daily maid service. Our room featured a loud, old window air conditioner, and a former outside door (locked) that leaks air and noise. There was 1 coffee cup and no cups.
The room was more bare than I expected, but clean and more than adequate. The pool was clean and cool and tiny. Just enough for two people to cool down in, but really appreciated. The location is wonderful, especially as we came down on the ferry (which is only a few blocks away). It's also only a block away from all the action on Duval.
