Fantastic location on a wonderful island
This VRBO was perfect for my family on a get away to a beautiful Kiawah. The beach is a safe 2 min walk along one of the trails. You cannot ask for closer. Apartment was well stocked with all you need, including beach chairs etc. Owner readily followed up on any queries. I want to book again!

Ito was totally quiet and relaxing. The only fault was stairs. It was my error in not asking. I have to use a cane to steady myself. So, that was a hindrance....otherwise, we would choose this condo again. Jennifer was very quick in responding any question we had.

Some areas lacking
King size bed ok but twin beds very uncomfortable. Toppers that did not fit, shifted and moved throughout the night making it impossible to have a good night sleep. Knives in kitchen not sharp and some handles broken upon arrival. The spatulas and cutting boards were dollar store quality and the expectation would be for better products. Coffee mugs were scarce and need replacing. The toilet in the master bedroom was loose and rocked.

Lovely beaches
Clean quiet quick stay! Great location! Short walk to magnificent beach! Only drawback; personally, was the bed and pillows were extremely hard so I did not sleep well. Everyone’s personal preference. Why they make all manner of mattresses 😁

Enjoyed the extras around the condo. A small cooler, beach chairs, sand toys, extra tp and garbage bags, tinfoil & suran wrap, salt & pepper. Comfortable beds & pillows. Close to beach. Historic book of island. The only drawback for us was we could not get the wifi to work.

Transition house
This condo was perfect for our 2 day stay until we could transition to a larger house when our family came, 8 adults and 2 babies. It was quick walk to the beach and a nice bike ride to night heron park. The condo had everything we needed and more. Couldn’t find the blender, but that was ok. Definitely would stay here again. Beautiful unit in a pristine location
Kiawah Island is/was an awesome experience for my birthday week. Access to the beach was an easy and short walk. Golf courses are abundant, as are the restaurants. Birthday dinner at the Ocean Course could not have been better. If you haven't visited the island, it should be on your bucket list. Twisted Oaks Villa is ideal for couples and even a small family. Cheers!!

Hidden gem

Wonderful location
We have stayed at this property several times. Its location is a short walk to the beach. It is very quiet an peaceful area. The owner is always very prompt in responding. We love visiting Kiawah Island and we find this property is perfect for us.

Very nice!
This unit worked perfectly for the weekend attending a wedding with another couple. It was clean, very well equipped and within walking distance to the venue. The owner was also very helpful and accessible when needed. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Rough start-Great finish
Upon entering the condo around 8pm, after a 20 hour drive, we discovered the condo had not been cleaned. A rough start to our 9 day vacation. The problem was fixed as quickly as possible and in the end we were very satisfied with the condo and it’s location. Would definitely return again.

This was our first trip back to Kiawah in many years. Every thing was lovely. I booked the property , not sure if one adult kid was coming or not. It is easily comfortable for 3 or 4 people but ended up being just us two so we plenty of room! The location was great and stocked with everything we needed. Jennifer is very responsive

Great Spring Break Getaway
The place was so convenient to the beach and to getting back off the island. We rode our bikes everywhere! This was our first trip to Kiawah but we will be back! The host was very responsive and so helpful! Book this place!

Wonderful Stay!

Just what the family needed
We just returned from staying at TwistedOaks and everything went perfect from start to finish. The VRBO was clean, spacious and in a perfect location. It was steps from the beach. Jennifer was the best. She provided all the information we needed to know for our first time visiting Kiawah. We look forward to going back to Kiawah and would always plan to stay at twisted oaks. 😊

Twisted Oaks retirement trip
We had a great time! Perfect location to the beach, bike paths and golf! Thought the place could have been cleaner but it was adequate. Need to update the coffee maker (so you can brew more than 2 cups at a time), the toaster oven(better choice would be a cheap toaster) and Provide a new hand mixer(no beaters provided). All in all we enjoyed the time we spent and would consider a return visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was a very short walk to the beach. The bike path was just a few short steps away. We were also close to Cougar Point golf course. The unit was very clean and had startup supplies. The owner was very prompt with any questions. Midway is a beautiful island. It is quiet but has so many things to offer. I would recommend staying at Twisted Oaks Villa

Great place, clean and modern
We were so happy with this condo! Everything was clean and working perfectly. Kiawah Island is just beautiful, and we had everything we needed. The owner communicated with us immediately through check in and check out. If you go, be sure to go and see the Angel Oak! It was breathtaking. We wil be back!

Winter at the beach
The condo was clean, comfortable and so close to the beautiful beach and walking/bike path. We were there in January and the resort was practically empty. Such a relaxing way to start the new year. Jennifer was gracious and so easy to communicate with. We would definitely return.
