On arriving in ivey house the man at reception was extremely helpful and informed us of all the tours on offer in Everglades city. The rooms were fine, maybe a little dated looking. The pool area was real relaxing. Breakfast was pretty good even offering oatmeal porridge to fill u up for the day! I would recommend the morning canoeing trip that the ivey house offers, it is steep at $99 each but we saw loads of baby alligators and were only a few feet from them and adult ones. No canoeing...
