"Excellent place to stay "

"Absolutely loved our stay nestled amongst the trees. Dinner was superb and the setting on the verandah was magical with the ambiance and lights. Staff always super helpful, friendly and kind. Breakfast had minimal choices and the rosti I had was too over cooked. Otherwise the stay was perfect and wouldnt hesitate to stay again."

"Hotel is an ideal place to stay. Rhonda the host is fantastic & will do anything to assist you. The room is very clean as is the pool with parking for each room.The hotel is a little way from the town but there is a nice river walk across the road that will take you there. Also a nice pub with good food to the left of the hotel across the bridge."

"Montville was an adventure. If one has a mobility limitation, getting around on the steep main street can be quite challenging. This was also true of the Altitude on Montville, which is built on a steep slope. The room that is equipped for disabled access is beautiful. We'd have been very happy there, but it wasn't practical to use it because a power surge during a recent storm had killed the small lift that was needed to access the room. We were given an alternate room that worked very well for us, and we are grateful that the property manager was so anxious to ensure that we were accommodated. If you need to book the Accessible Room, phone the property to confirm that the lift is in working order. There is another work-around available, but it would be a spot of bother to use it and quite impractical for a solo traveler."
