"Clean room, excellent views, steps away from the beach. Rental items cover what you mostly need to enjoy many activities in the water, around the beach, and at the pool. Their activities are a great plus up!"

"Overall, we were happy with the house and enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, nicely remodeled, and the proximity to the beach was a definite plus.There were a few issues worth noting. The listing advertised a two-car garage, but it is actually a small one-car garage. A large SUV would not fit inside. Parking is also limited, with space for only one vehicle in the driveway, and even then it extends across the driveway. There is no street parking directly in front of the house.The beds had memory foam mattresses that we did not find particularly comfortable, and the sheets were stiff and did not fit the mattresses well. A few kitchen supplies had not been replenished, and the main bathroom was missing a hook, which appeared to have broken off and had not been replaced.These were relatively minor inconveniences and did not significantly detract from our experience. Overall, we found the house to be comfortable, clean, and in a great location, and we would recommend it to others looking for a place near the beach."

"This house was lovely! The rooftop and its view were our absolute favorite! It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were easy to reach and communicated quickly. We were also glad to have 4 parking spots! Would absolutely stay here again."

"Lost Shaker of Salt was a great 2BR/2BA small home with full kitchen, front and rear patios and plenty of space for our family of 4 that incudes two older teenagers. The location was good right next to the harbor and there was a small beach directly across the road just a short walk away. The property description was accurate, the apartment was clean and had everything a family needs to enjoy a stay. The washer/dryer were an added bonus that all families traveling with children would appreciate. The area felt safe and we had no problem sitting out on the front porch with the gas fire pit keeping us warm for an evening watching the stars and even got a front-row view to a evening rocket launch that we assume was from Vandenberg Space Force Base just north of Santa Barbara! Another added bonus is we all had fun watching the sea lions playing around the harbor. They can be noisy up close but inside the apartment we did not hear them so they weren’t a nuisance. Communication with the hosts was excellent. From check-in instructions through check-out all our messages were responded to in a timely fashion. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and we had no issues with our contactless check-in. We would definitely stay here again when we visit the Oxnard/Ventura area."

"This house was an absolute 10/10 for our family! My family of 4 was traveling with my parents and all 6 of us agreed that this house was perfection! The beach is a mere block away, and the marina (with its sea lions) was so fun to watch.It's clear that the house is well loved, as it is beautifully decorated and there is attention to detail throughout every room. It's well appointed, having absolutely everything we could have needed (we even found marshmallow sticks for S'mores on the firetable!), and every bed was wonderfuly comfortable. Erica was also responsive and helpful both before and during our stay, which helped to make this home the best way to end our 2 week California vacation! I don't often say this, but this house, given it's location, attention to detail, and amenities is well worth the value. We were so glad to have found it!"

"We had a very enjoyable family vacation, the weather was good the Kids loved the beach and the sand doons, the water was a little cold but that didn't stop the kiddies from going in the water, and it was not very wavey because of the break water. The house had all the rooms needed for are family it was neat and clean there were many resturants for us to pick from we had a really good stay."
