We loved the more intimate feel of being in the house, while still enjoying the amenities of the larger Armada Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the restaurants and pub at the Armada were equally delightful. "Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there."
